Given the decline in sales and weakened Ringgit against the US Dollar, the Group continued to prudently manage operating expenses to yield profit before taxation of RM50.9 million, a slight drop against the previous year (2021: RM51.5 million). Moving into 2023, inflation is expected to remain elevated amidst both demand and cost pressures. As we closely monitor the economic environment, we will be more cautious when making decisions about new investments or new business ventures.
