BURSA MALAYSIA –
Our Group recorded a LAT of RM12.3 million for FYE 30 June 2023 as compared to LAT of RM5.7 million for FYE 30 June 2022. The higher LAT in FYE 30 June 2023 was mainly due to lower GP and higher administrative expenses such as bad debts written off during the current financial year. As people are becoming more comfortable to attend physical events and more international performers and artistes are able to travel to Malaysia, we plan to redirect our focus to organising physical events. This will help us to capture more revenue from physical events and festivals in the near term
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue of RM6.26 million, representing a slight increase of 6% compared to the fourth quarter ended 30 June 2022 (“Q4 FY2022”). The Group’s higher revenue was mainly contributed by a higher revenue recorded in the event management sector while the profit after taxation for Q1 FY2023 has improved compared to Q4 FY2022 due to the gain on disposal of subsidiaries in Q1 FY2023.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Our Group recorded a LAT of RM5.7 million for FYE 30 June 2022 as compared to LAT of RM9.2 million for FYE 30 June 2021. The lower LAT in FYE 30 June 2022 was mainly due to higher GP and lower administrative expenses during the current financial year. Moving forward, our Group intends to expand our event management business following the relaxation of movement containment measures and reopening of all major economic sectors

The Group recorded a revenue of RM5.92 million, representing a decrease of 39% compared to the third quarter ended 31 March 2022 (“Q3 FY2022”). The Group’s lower revenue was mainly contributed by a lower revenue recorded in the ICT sector while the loss after taxation for Q4 FY2022 has increased drastically compared to Q3 FY2022 due to impairment in financial assets recorded in Q4 FY2022.

The Group’s lower revenue was mainly contributed by a lower revenue recorded in the ICT sector while the loss after taxation for Q3 FY2022 has decreased 67% compared to Q2 FY2022 due to a written off of property, plant and equipment recorded in Q2 FY2022.

The Group’s higher revenue was mainly contributed by a higher revenue recorded in the ICT sector while the loss after taxation for Q2 FY2022 has increased 252% compared to Q1 FY2022 due to a written off of property, plant and equipment recorded during the period under review.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Our Group recorded a LAT of RM9.2 million for FYE 30 June 2021 compared to LAT of RM8.7 million for FYE 30 June 2020. The
decrease in revenue was due to the lower sales generated from ICT and event management, which was a result of
the impacted by the negative effect of the COVID-19 pandemic. We will continuously seek opportunities to expand within the ICT and event management industry to gain a strong foothold in the domestic market. In addition, the private placement exercise in March 2021 also helped us to procure additional funding for our money lending business under the financial solutions segment.
The Star –
Macpie Bhd, which is acquiring a 35% stake in Techninier Sdn Bhd, said the target company has signed an agreement concerning deployment of services to eSukan.gg, a government linked e-sports portal.

The Group recorded a revenue of RM11.44 million, representing an increase of 124% as compared to the first quarter. The Group’s higher revenue was mainly contributed by the ICT sector, specifically the increase of sales in mobile devices due to working from home arrangement as well as a couple of year end promotional campaigns.

Macpie Bhd has inked a heads of agreement (HOA) to acquire up to 35% stake in Techninier Sdn Bhd, a software and mobile game development company. In a statement with Bursa Malaysia today, Macpie, which engages in event management and communication products distribution businesses, said the proposed acquisition would strengthen its digital and e-sports events business.

XOX Bhd has emerged as a new substantial shareholder of ACE Market-listed Macpie Bhd, after acquiring a 5.66% stake or 20 million shares in the group in the open market on Friday (October 2). In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, XOX said it now indirectly owns 9.16% or 32.36 million shares in Macpie, through its Hong Kong based subsidiary XOX (Hong Kong) Ltd. Macpie, which has been in the red since 2014, is involved in retail and distribution management, as well as event management.

Macpie Bhd, which has received an unusual market activity query from Bursa Malaysia today following a recent spike in its share price, says its largest shareholder has exited the company after disposing of a 24.54% stake in the company on Friday (Sept 11). The group said it had received notifications from its executive director Ng Chee Heng and the latter’s private vehicle SEG Capital Intelligence Sdn Bhd that SEG Capital had disposed of 86.71 million Macpie shares via the open market. The shares were disposed of at 33 sen apiece.

The Group recorded decrease in revenue of RM5.1 million in 4Q 2020 as compare to 3Q 2020 was mainly attributed by leasing segment and event segment due to sales were lower than anticipated demand. A loss after tax was increased RM3.4mil due to higher impairment losses recorded in 4Q 2020.

The Group recorded decrease in Revenue of RM2.3 million in 31 March 2020 as compare to 31 December 2019 was mainly attributed by Event segment due to sales were lower than anticipated demand.
