BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group achieved a loss after tax of RM2.64 million for the current quarter as compared to a loss after tax of RM2.68 million for the immediate preceding quarter. The slightly decrease in loss after tax as compared to the immediate preceding quarter was mainly contributed from the profit after tax generated from new manufacturing segment.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group achieved a loss after tax of RM2.68 million for the current quarter as compared to a profit after tax of RM2.83 million for the immediate preceding quarter. The increase in loss after tax as compared to the immediate preceding quarter was mainly due to a higher of services and repair & maintenance and depreciation expenses.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group achieved a profit after tax of RM1.98 million for the current quarter as compared to a loss after tax of RM0.23 million for the immediate preceding quarter. The increase in profit after tax as compared to the immediate preceding quarter was mainly contributed from higher revenue and gain on disposal of property, plant and equipment.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group achieved a loss after tax of RM0.22 million for the current quarter as compared to a loss after tax of RM0.18 million for the immediate preceding quarter. The increase in loss after tax as compared to the immediate preceding quarter was mainly due to higher operating expenses but was offset by gain on disposal of property, plant and equipment.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s total revenue increased by 15.66% from RM19.93 million recorded for the immediate preceding financial quarter to RM23.01 million for the current financial quarter. The increase in revenue as compared to immediate preceding quarter was contributed by the land transport operation despite the MCO3.0 that was implemented by the Malaysian Government to curb the rise in number of COVID-19 positive cases nationwide.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group achieved a profit after tax of RM1.90 million for the current quarter as compared to a profit before tax of RM1.91 million for the immediate preceding quarter. The slight decrease in profit after tax as compared to the immediate preceding quarter was mainly due to lower administrative operating costs, lower provision of depreciation expenses, reversal of provision of interest expense in the previous quarters and higher provision of income tax expense.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group incurred a loss after tax of the Group of RM0.87 million for the current quarter as compared to a profit after tax of RM0.11 million for the immediate preceding quarter. The decrease in profit after tax as compared to the immediate preceding quarter was mainly due to lower profit margins and higher operating costs such as drivers’ commission, fuel costs, repairs and maintenance and etc.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 2.55 million. It was slightly high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 33.2 million and auditor’s remuneration of 160 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Profit after tax of the Group increased by 100.72% from a loss after tax of RM4.85 million for the preceding quarter to a profit after tax of RM0.11 million for the current quarter. The increase in profit after tax was mainly due to lower operating costs such as fuel costs and lower administrative costs such as lower allowance impairment losses for trade receivables.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s total revenue decreased by 35.92% from RM32.36 million recorded for the immediate preceding financial quarter to RM20.73 million for the current financial quarter. The significant decrease in revenue as compared to immediate preceding quarter was caused by the land transport operation due to Chinese New Year, MCO imposed by the Malaysian government to combat the increase in cases for the Covid-19 pandemic and spill over effect from the global economic downturn due to Covid-19
