BURSA MALAYSIA –
The group reports a Profit After Tax of RM525.0 million as compared with RM202.0 million recorded in FY2021, an increase of 159.9%, mainly due to the gain arising from disposals of SPA 1, SPA 2, SPA 3 and BCAP’s land totalling RM395.3 million, partially offset by impairment of property, plant and equipment of RM56.3 million and higher losses on foreign exchange. Going Forward, The Board remains optimistic on the long term prospects of the palm oil industry. The Board believes with global population and per capita income growth, the demand for palm oil will remain resilient in the years to come as it is the most efficient and competitively priced vegetable oil.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
PBT for Q4 2022 was lower at RM66.3 million compared with RM294.4 million for Q3 2022. This is notwithstanding the gain on foreign exchange of RM10.9 million arising from the strengthening of MYR against foreign currencies in Q4 2022 as opposed to the loss on foreign exchange of RM15.5 million in Q3 2022. Higher PBT in Q3 2022 arose from recognition of a gain on disposal of land by BCAP of RM301.4 million partially offset by the impairments of bearer plant and building of RM25.5 million
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The PBT for Q3 2022 was however higher at RM294.4 million compared with RM80.5 million for Q2 2022 mainly due to the gain on disposal of land by BCAP of RM301.4 million partially offset by the impairments of bearer plant and building of RM25.5 million.

BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue for Q4 2021 of RM328.4 million was higher compared with Q3 2021 of RM309.1 million. This is mainly attributable to higher revenue contributions from Palm Products segment, Wood division and Cocoa division. Higher core profit before taxation of RM82.4 million was registered for Q4 2021 compared with RM68.3 million for Q3 2021 due to higher average selling prices on CPO.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Higher core profit before taxation of RM68.3 million was registered for Q3 2021 compared with RM65.2 million for Q2 2021 due to higher average CPO selling price but partially offset by unrealised loss of RM16.1 million arising from changes in fair value on outstanding CPO derivative contracts. The higher core profit before taxation is also attributable to higher share of profit contributions from joint ventures and associate. Accordingly, the profit before taxation for Q3 2021 of RM65.7 million was higher compared with RM64.7 million in Q2 2021 despitehigher foreign exchange losses.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Palm segment profit increased to RM61.1 million compared with the Q4, 2020 of RM38.7 million due to higher CPO and PK prices notwithstanding the additional Indonesia export levy and duty on CPO of RM37.5 million. Accordingly, the Group registered higher core profit before tax of RM50.9 million compared with RM35.9 million for the Q4,2020.
BURSA MALAYSIA –

BURSA MALAYSIA –
For Q2 2020, the Group registered revenue of RM210.6 million which was lower compared with the revenue for the immediate preceding quarter of RM257.4 million mainly due to lower CPO and PK prices. BURSA MALAYSIA –
For Q1 2020, the Group registered revenue of RM257.4 million as compared with the revenue for the preceding quarter of RM241.5 million mainly due to higher average CPO and PK prices. Profit before taxation for Q1 2020 of RM21.4 million was lower compared to RM32.3 million in Q4 2019 due to a loss on foreign exchange for Q1 2020.
