The Group recorded a LAT of RM18.91 million in FYE 31 July 2023 as compared to a PAT of RM14.31 million in FYE 31 July 2022. The LAT in FYE 31 July 2023 was mainly due to the impairment of goodwill of RM2.52 following the lower occupancy rate of Persoft Tower as well as the impairment of property development cost. The Group’s solar division remains its main revenue contributor. The Group aims to grow this division by offering competitive pricing, quality products and services, a wider range of offerings, and venturing into new sustainable solutions to capitalise on the ongoing shift towards renewable energy. Additionally, a new Tropicana LRT 3 station is currently under construction nearby, which will provide another means of transportation to the area upon completion. Together with the upgrade of Persoft Tower to attract potential tenants, this is expected to increase the occupancy rate for this asset.
