BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a loss before tax of RM29.8 million for the current financial year ended 30 June 2024 as compared to a profit of RM84.9 million in the corresponding financial year. The negative difference was mainly due to material damages insurance claim of RM120.0 million included in the corresponding financial year. Going forward, The Group is working diligently with clients to navigate the rigorous onboarding and approval procedures. The Group’s primary focus is on commercialising approved samples from ongoing engagements, and have successfully regularised a number of key SKUs.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a profit from operations in FY2023 of RM87.19 million compared to a loss from operations of RM93.19 million in the previous financial period. The Group turned in significant profit in FY2023, as compared to a loss in the previous year, due to the receipt of insurance proceeds of RM120 million. The Group will strive to continue focusing on its core business of manufacturing and marketing of flexible packaging products and will continue leveraging and building the reputation in the market as a consistently reliable partner delivering quality and competitive packaging products to its broad base of customers. The Group will continue to undertake various strategies and product innovation as well as reinforce our sales and marketing efforts
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a loss before tax of RM6.8 million for the quarter under review as compared to a profit before tax of RM30.4 million in the preceding quarter. The profit before tax in the previous quarter was primarily due to RM40 million of second Payment on Account received from Insurers.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a loss before tax of RM115.8 million for the quarter under review as compared to a loss before tax of RM6.2 million in the preceding quarter. The decrease was primarily due to the fire incident, whereby although the Group had received orders of RM175 million as at 19 December 2021, the fire had destroyed stocks of finished goods and work-in-progress totalling RM17.5 million, which we would be able to receive compensation from our insurance coverage
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a loss before tax of RM6.3 million for the quarter under review as compared to a profit before tax of RM1.1 million in the preceding quarter principally due to the significantly higher raw material prices, ocean freight charges and incidental expenses relating to COVID-19
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a profit before tax of RM4.0 million for the quarter under review as compared to a loss of RM6.5 million in the last quarter primarily due to higher revenue as well as higher contribution margins and reduction in overheads arising from improved operations in the current quarter compared to the preceding quarter arising from the positive impact of the transformation program.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 1.56 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 19.2 million and auditor’s remuneration of 150 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue for the current quarter of RM32.6 million was 26% lower compared to RM44.1 million for the
preceding quarter, due to decreased orders from both local and international customers.
