BURSA MALAYSIA –
On a sequential basis, the Group’s revenue improved 27.1% or RM14.81 million to RM69.45 million in the current quarter under review versus RM54.65 million recorded in the immediate preceding quarter. As a result of the top-line improvement, TCS returned to black with a PBT of RM0.08 million, against a LBT of RM3.90 million in the immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
TCS’ RM54.65 million revenue in the current quarter under review was an improvement of 3.7% or RM1.97 million from RM52.68 million in the immediate preceding quarter. Meanwhile, the rising operating cost environment resulted in the Group incurring LBT of RM3.91 million as compared to the PBT of RM0.10 million last quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a PBT of RM0.10 million in the current quarter under review versus a loss before tax of RM6.74 million in the immediately preceding quarter. The LBT was predominantly owing to the one-off impairment on the financial assets amounting to RM4.14 million in relation to the KTCC Mall Project.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a LBT of RM6.74 million versus a PBT of RM2.83 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The loss was predominantly owing to the aforementioned one-off impairment and cost escalation in building materials, as well as revenue adjustment (upon finalization of accounts for 2 completed projects) due to reduction in work scopes and differences in final measurement quantities.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group registered a PBT of RM2.83 million in current quarter under review as compared to RM2.78 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The increase in PBT was in line with the increase in revenue but offset by higher material costs due to the disruptions in the building materials supply chain.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group registered a lower revenue and PBT of RM60.21 million and RM4.34 million respectively in comparison with the RM65.34 million and RM7.45 million recognised for revenue and PBT respectively in the immediate preceding quarter. The decline was mainly attributed to the completion of Suria Pantai project and Riana South project during the second half of last year and higher raw material costs in the current quarter under review.
