BURSA MALAYSIA –
The financial year in review saw the Group registering a 12.6% decline in its profit before tax to RM48.7 million from the RM55.7 million recorded previously. The Group’s profitability was impacted by higher provision for the obligation to replace moveable assets and port infrastructure during the concession period. Theexpansion of Sapangar Bay Container Port to serve as theregional transshipment hub and load centre is ongoing withcompletion targeted in 2026. On the property front, phase 2 of JQ project is expected to commence construction in year 2024.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax rose by 14.3% to RM67.0 million from RM58.6 million in 2021 while the profit after tax stood at RM59.1 million an increase of 49.6% from RM39.5 million recorded in the previous year mainly due to higher revenue, as port operations continue to be the main source of revenue for the Group. Going forward, The extended concession period for Sabah Ports up till year 2064 will enable them to continue their port expansion and upgrading programme to serve the State’s economy and to better plan for the future. Other than that, To ensure that the overall planning for Jesselton Waterfront City is holistic, integrated and sustainable, Suria will be revisiting the master plan for the entire waterfront development at Kota Kinabalu Port. Preserving the water’s edge for sustainability purposes is high on the agenda and the review will entail incorporating environmental conscious strategies within the developments.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a pre-tax profit of RM23.2 million for the current quarter as compared to RM7.2 million for the immediate preceding quarter, representing an increase of RM16.0 million (>100%), mainly due to higher revenue from operations during the current quarter.

The Group reported a pre-tax profit of RM9.2 million for the current quarter as compared to RM17.4 million for the immediate preceding quarter, representing a decrease of RM8.2 million (47%), mainly due to higher operational cost and administrative expenses during the current quarter.

The Group reported a pre-tax profit of RM17.4 million for the current quarter as compared to RM11.3 million for the immediate preceding quarter, representing an increase of RM6.1 million (53.9%), mainly due to higher revenue during the current quarter. The increase in revenue was mainly due to higher contribution from the
core business of port operations.

The Group reported a pre-tax profit of RM11.3 million for the current quarter as compared to RM13.5 million for the immediate preceding quarter ended 30 September 2021, representing a decrease of RM2.2 million (16%), mainly due to higher other expenses due to provision for expected credit loss during the current quarter.

The Group reported a pre-tax profit of RM21.9 million for the current quarter as compared to RM11.4 million for the immediate preceding quarter ended 31 March 2021, representing an increase of RM10.5 million (92%), mainly due to higher revenue from port operations and lower operational costs during the current quarter.

The Group reported a pre-tax profit of RM11.4 million for the current quarter as compared to RM11.7 million for the immediate preceding quarter, representing a decrease of RM0.3 million (3%), mainly due to lower revenue during the current quarter.

The Group reported a pre-tax profit of RM12.8 million for the current quarter as compared to RM16.5 million for the preceding quarter, representing a decrease of RM3.7 million (22%), mainly due to lower revenue registered.

In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 1.75 million. It was slightly low compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 65.9 million and auditor’s remuneration of 230 thousands
