The Group recorded a Profit before tax of RM28.3 million for the FYE 30 June 2024 as compared to RM27.3 million in the previous year corresponding financial year. This is mainly due to gain on disposal of investment property and higher gain on short-term investment. Moving forward, we will remain focus on the existing products segment, namely the Transformer and Lightingand related products. We expect a steady growth in the demand for our products from customersas well as the growth in business expansion in respect of the motorcycle spare parts products.

This was mainly due to a fair value gain on short-term investments and gain on foreign exchange. The Group reported a PATNCI of RM20.74 million for the FYE 30 June 2021. This was due mainly to increase in sales from Transformer and Lighting segment, coupled with lower operating cost as a result of cost optimisation programmes. STC remains upbeat on the resumption of economic activity on a broader scale following to the ease of Covid-19 restrictions
across the local and global regions. We anticipate that there will be a rebound in sales for the next financial year, which is
subject to the uncertainties of the global economy outlook arising from other aspects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
