Despite increase in revenue, the Group reported a higher loss before tax (LBT) of RM1.0 million in FY 23 compared to RM62,000 in FY 22. The higher LBT in the current financial year was mainly due to escalated operating costs and the absence of a one-time provision for service charge reversal. Corus Paradise Resort expects to broaden its customer base and diversify its revenue channels as well. It plans to launch a Privilege/Loyalty card scheme for F&B and accommodation.

The Group recorded a loss of RM1.99 million for the year ended 30 June 2021 compared to a loss of RM2.10 million in the previous financial year. The loss was primarily attributable to the professional fees incurred for the current due diligence exercise and also accrued interest on the defaulted loans under Geranium Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of G Neptune Berhad. The Group has ceased all business operations. Despite its dormant status, the Board continues to
monitor the financial position of the Group to mitigate any risks that may arise
