    The Group’s PBT and PBT margin deteriorated from approximately RM7.8 million and 13.3% for FYE2021 to approximately RM2.87 million and 6.3% for FYE2022. This is due to revenue reduced recorded. Going Forward, the group is now focus in driving more research and development activities in enhancing our products to better suit the needs of the customer. Also, to penetrating the foreign markets, the group will focus on export markets to grow the business. The group aims to futher increase thier presence in the North America and European markets in future.

    The Group recorded revenue of RM11.74 million in Q4 2022 as compared to RM9.73 million recorded in the preceding quarter ended 30 September 2022 (“Q3 2022”), it was an increase of RM2.02 million during current financial quarter. The increase of revenue was due to the increase of demand from Asia Pacific customers in Q4 2022 compared to Q3 2022.

The increase in profit before tax was mainly attributable to the higher sales volume and strengthening of the USD against the RM whereby a majority of the Group’s sales are denominated in USD.

    The decrease of revenue was due to the implementation of the Full Movement Control Order (“FMCO”) from June 2021, the Group”s operation was halted for 12 weeks in the current financial quarter under review. The production halt has caused the shipment of furniture interrupted again in Q3 2021. It caused the PBT dropped from RM0.57 million in Q2 2021 to LBT of RM1.89 million in Q2 2021 as only finished goods able to be shipped out during the FMCO.

    The Group recorded revenue of RM15.34 million in Q4 2020 as compared to RM17.30 million in Q3 2020, a decrease of RM1.97 million during current financial quarter. The decrease of revenue was due to the shortage of containers faced, most of the containers unable to ship out in December 2020. Therefore, it caused the lower revenue and higher stock level recorded in Q4 2020. As a result, the Group registered a PBT of RM1.67 million in Q4 2020, a decrease of RM2.28 million from RM3.95 million in the preceding quarter.

    Sping Art Holdings Bhd has suspended the operations of two factories as well as its administrative office after some of its employees tested positive for Covid-19. However, it did not disclose how many have been infected. It said it is working closely with the Ministry of Health to implement mitigating steps to contain the spread of Covid-19 at the premises.

The increase of revenue was due to the production started pick up the speed to the productivity before Movement Control Order (“MCO”). Therefore, the Group registered a PBT of RM3.95 million in Q3 2020, an increase of RM3.72 million from RM0.23 million in the preceding quarter.
