BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted revenue and profit before tax of RM 17.86 million and RM 6.24 million respectively for the current quarter under review, followed with RM 69.09 million and RM 26.86 million respectively for the cumulative financial period ended 30 June 2024. The group recorded low PBT due to one-off gain on disposal of Talentoz Sdn Bhd. Moving Forward, the group expects to participate in the region’s digital transformation opportunities and aims to take part in its growth through our new strategic direction. Main priorities are to reinforce our core IOT business in Malaysia and Indonesia. Also to seek out new geographies to expand into, and continue researching and developing new products for different verticals.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded an increased in revenue by RM9.7 million or 22%, amounted to RM53.4 million for the current quarter as compared to RM 43.7 milliom in the immediate preceding quarter, mainly resulted from higher revenue contribution from both Technology and education segment during the quarter under review. Correspondently, the Group recorded an improvement in PBT and PAT of approximately RM7.8 million and RM7.4 million respectively for the current quarter under review as compared to PBT and PAT of approximately RM5.5 million for immediate preceding quarter respectively.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded an increased in revenue of RM43.72 million for the current quarter as compared to RM 36.49 milliom in the immediate preceding quarter, mainly resulted from higher revenue contribution from both Technology and education segment during the quarter under review. Nevertheless, the Group recorded a lower PBT and PAT of approximately RM5.53 million and RM5.52 million respectively for the current quarter under review as compared to PBT and PAT of approximately RM4.58 million for immediate preceding quarter respectively, mainly due to higher overheads recorded for the quarter under review.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded an improvement on PBT of RM 4.58 million for the current quarter under review as compared to RM1.51 million, after the necesssary treatment on impairments on Right-Of-Use Assets and Goodwill on Consolidation in the immediate preceding quarter. Lastly, a slight improvement in PAT of RM4.58 million wasrecordedas compared to RM 4.09 million, after adjustment on deferred tax in the immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded an improvement in revenue of RM49.51 million for the current quarter as compared to RM 43.60 milliom in the immediate preceding quarter, mainly resulted from higher revenue contribution from Technology segment during the forth quarter of year 2021. The company recorded a Profit After Tax of RM4.05 million for the quarter under review, as compared to immediate preceeding quarter of RM2.84 million
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Profit Before Tax reduced from RM5.2 million for immediate preceding quarter as compared norminal loss of RM0.06 million for the curent quarter under review. In addition, the better profitability for the immediate preceding quarter was also due to one-time gain from education segment, such as lease modification amounting to RM5.8 million arising from the termination of a long-term lease rental and a reversal of impairment of trade receivables of approximately RM3.7 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue and profit before tax of RM42.49 million and RM7.35 million respectively in the current quarter as compared to RM32.92 million and loss before tax for RM0.43 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The improvement in revenue was mainly contributed from progressive business activities granted by the Government during October 2020 after the country wide locked down. Correspondingly, the profitability for current quarter has improved due to higher profit contribution from IOT technology segment as well as cost rationalisation exercises and saving in operating costs during the period.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue and loss before tax of RM30.21 million and RM5.17 million respectively in the current quarter as compared to RM24.55 million and RM12.50 million in the immediate preceding quarter, mainly resulted from increased in revenue from technology segment for the quarter under reveiewed. Nevertheless, the profitability has improved due to higher profit contribution from IOT technology segments as well as cost rationalisation exercises conducted during the period.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue and loss before tax of RM24.55 million and RM12.50 million in the current quarter as compared to RM46.06 million and RM29.51 million in the immediate preceding quarter, mainly resulted from reduced in revenue from both education and technology segment. The profitability for the period ended 31 March 2020 has improved due to the one off impact from impairment of goodwill amounted to RM15mil form the preceding quarter under review.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 4.5 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 54.8 million and auditor’s remuneration of 674 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue and loss before tax of RM46.73 million and RM21.48 million respectively in the current quarter as compared to RM24.50 million and RM13.30 million in the preceding quarter, mainly resulted from increase in revenue from Technology segment and impact from impairment of goodwill.
