BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s loss after taxation increased by RM5.54 million or 71% amounting to RM13.3 million for FYE2022 as compared to RM7.8 million in the FYE2021. This was mainly due to a consultancy fee of RM5.00 million incurred in connection with a joint-venture agreement for the proposed development of a piece of land located at Mukim Setapak, Negeri Wilayah Persekutuan, Kuala Lumpur measuring approximately 15,929 square meters, a share-based payment expenses of RM1.84 million and write-down of inventories of RM0.92 million during the FYE 2022. Going forward, The Group is looking at ways to enhance its housing development operations. Efforts are being taken to increase its land banks in order to ensure the continuity of profitable operations. This includes looking for land deals or joint ventures that are profitable to the Group.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
As revenue from discontinued operations decreased significantly, the Group posted a higher loss attributable to owners of the parent of RM4.05 million during the quarter ended 31 December 2022 as compared to a loss attributable to owners of the parent of RM0.74 million during the previous quarter ended 30 September 2022. The higher loss during the quarter ended 31 December 2022 was mainly due a consultancy fee of RM5.00 million incurred in connection with the proposed development of a piece of land located at Mukim Setapak, Negeri Wilayah Persekutuan, Kuala Lumpur measuring approximately 15,929 square meters during the quarter ended 31 December 2022.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
As revenue increased, the Group posted a lower loss attributable to owners of the parent of RM0.74 million during the current quarter as compared to a loss attributable to owners of the parent of RM4.98 million during the preceding quarter. The lower loss during the current quarter was mainly due to a fair value loss of RM1.84 million on the Share Issue Scheme offered to eligible Directors and employees of the Company and its active subsidiary companies during the preceding quarter. Furthermore, there was an increase in other income of RM1.16 million during the current quarter
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a loss attributable to owners of the parent of RM5.30 million during the current quarter as opposed to a profit attributable to owners of the parent of RM0.23 million during the preceding quarter. The loss during the current quarter was compounded further by an increase in purchase price/ production cost of live broilers and purchase price of building materials as compared with the previous quarter. Furthermore, there was a fair value loss of RM1.84 million on the Share Issue Scheme offered to eligible Directors and employees of the Company and its active subsidiary companies during the quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a lower profit attributable to owners of the parent of RM0.23 million during the current quarter ended 31 March 2022 compared to a profit attributable to owners of the parent of RM0.42 million during the preceding quarter ended 31 December 2021. This was mainly due to lower revenue recognised on the percentage of completion method during the current quarter ended 31 March 2022 as compared to the previous quarter ended 31 December 2021.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
As a result of the increase in revenue, the Group posted a lower loss attributable to owners of the parent of RM0.78 million during the current quarter ended 31 March 2021 compared to a loss attributable to owners of the parent of RM6.74 million during the preceding quarter ended 31 December 2020. The increase was mainly
due to increase in average selling price and sales volume of live broilers during the current quarter ended 31 March 2021.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a higher loss attributable to owners of the parent of RM7.62 million during the current quarter compared to RM2.78 million during the preceding quarter ended 31 March 2020. The higher loss was mainly due to an impairment loss on trade receivables of RM4.00 million was incurred during the quarter under review compared to RM3.00 million incurred during the previous quarter ended 31 March 2020, coupled with decrease in revenue from the property and healthcare segments.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Even though revenue increased, the Group posted a higher loss attributable to owners of the parent of RM2.78 million during the current quarter compared to RM2.47 million during the preceding quarter. The higher loss during the current quarter was mainly due to an impairment loss on trade receivables of RM3.00 million incurred coupled with decrease in revenue from the property and healthcare segments. This was partially off-set by receipt of Government grant of RM4.51 million.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 3.79 million. It was slightly high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 12.8 million and auditor’s remuneration of 217 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The food division posted a revenue of RM31.05 million for current quarter compared to RM68.37 million in the previous quarter ended 30 September 2019. The decrease was due to decrease in sales volume and average selling price of live broilers. The Group posted a loss attributable to owners of the parent of RM2.47 million for current quarter as opposed to a profit attributable to owners of the parent of RM8.89 million in the preceding quarter. The loss was mainly due a pre-tax gain on disposal of feed-mill assets of RM17.87 million.
