BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group achieved slightly lower profit after tax margin of 6.31% in current quarter ended 30 September 2022 as compared to the profit after tax margin achieved by the Group of 6.69% in preceding quarter ended 30 June 2022. The slight decrease in the profit after tax margin is mainly attributable to lower contribution due to different product assortment.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The profit after tax achieved by the Group for the current quarter amounted to approximately 6.7% is notably lower as compared to the profit after tax of the Group for the preceding quarter amounted to approximately 8.9%, mainly attributed by one off disposal of investment properties by the Group in preceding quarter ended 31 March 2022 which resulted in gain of approximately RM5.1 million. In addition, one of the subsidiaries of the Group recognised one off reduction in income tax expense amounted to approximately RM4.6 million arising from recognition of reinvestment allowance in preceding quarter ended 31 March 2022.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The revenue had decreased by 37.6% from RM713.3 million to RM444.9 million mainly due voluntary shut down of Johor Bahru operations from 16 January 2021 to 29 January 2021 as well as seasonally weaker quarter as a result of festive holidays.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Compared to preceding quarter, the revenue had substantially increased by 82.2% from RM398.5 million to RM726.3 million due to the contribution from full operation during the quarter. Current quarter comprised of three months of full operation as compared to only two months of operation in preceding quarter as a result of Movement Control Order in April 2020. The profit before tax had also increased by 337.7% from RM13.2 million to RM57.8 million
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 13.62 million. It was slightly high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 192.5 million and auditor’s remuneration of 318 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Compared to precediing quarter, the revenue had decreased by 6.4% from RM426.0 million to RM398.5 million due to the MCO. However profit before tax had increased by 15.8% from RM11.4 million to RM13.2 million due to different products mix and improvement in operational efficiencies and cost controls after the resumption of operations
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Compared with preceding quarter, the revenue had decreased by 22.7% from RM551.3 million to RM426.0 million. The profit before tax has decreased by 64.8% from RM32.4 million to RM11.4 million due to sudden imposition of movement control order “MCO” by the Malaysia Government on 18th March 2020 which affected our business. The Group has resumed operations during the relaxation of MCO at the end of April 2020.
