Profit before tax increased by 2.9% from RM68.9 million reported in the previous year to RM70.5 million for the current year, mainly due to higher revenue generated by the property development segment attributable to higher sales and speed of inventories liquidation from the development projects in Goodview Heights, Taman Rasa Utama and Taman Perindustrian Rasa in Batang Kali, Alam Budiman, Kiara Sungai Long, and Sungai Long Residence. Despite the current challenging and unpredictable Malaysian economic environment, SHL Consolidated Bhd will remain resilient and focused on building landed properties and affordable value homes in Bandar Sungai Long, Goodview Heights at Sungai Long South, Taman Rasa Utama and Taman Perindustrian Rasa in Batang Kali, all property development projects located in Selangor Darul Ehsan, the primary social and economic centre of Malaysia.
