BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group ended the financial year 30 June 2024 with an after-tax profit of RM26.50 million while last year’s was an aftertax profit of RM16.07 million. This was attributed by lower subcontract labour costs, fertilizer and chemical costs due to lower expenditure on manuring. Also, increase in the fair value change of the Group’s investments through profit or loss for the current financial year and higher Share of associates’ profit. In near future, the Group expects Fresh Fruit Bunches (“FFB”) production to be higher than current financial year.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue of RM2.57 million was lower than the immediate preceding quarter’s of RM4.54 million. This was due to lower crop sales of RM2.47 million for the current quarter as compared to the immediate preceding quarter’s RM4.16 million. For the current quarter, there was no rental income as compared to the immediate preceding quarter’s of RM98,000. This was because the tenancy agreement of the property in London expired during the current quarter.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 1.35 million. It was high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 2 million and auditor’s remuneration of 66 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue of RM5.91 million for the current quarter was higher than the preceding quarter’s of RM2.54 million. This was mainly contributed by the receipt of dividend income of RM2.74 million. The Group reported a pre-tax profit of RM8.12 million for the current quarter while the preceding quarter reported a loss of RM21.30 million. This was mainly due to revenue achieved; foreign exchange gain; fair value through profit or loss investments; share of the associates’ financial results was a profit.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a pre-tax loss of RM21.30 million for the current quarter while the immediate preceding quarter reported a gain of RM8.95 million. This was mainly due to foreign exchange difference was a loss of RM6.27 million for the current quarter while it was a gain of RM2.91 million for the immediate preceding quarter, valuation on its through profit or loss investments for the current quarter was a loss of RM4.10
million while it was a gain of RM3.17 million for the immediate preceding quarter and share of associates’ financial results was a loss of RM9.43 million for the current quarter.

The Group reported a pre-tax profit of RM8.95 million for the current quarter which was a positive turnaround from the immediate preceding quarter’s loss of RM6.07 million. This was mainly due to revenue achieved for the current quarter was higher than preceding quarter; Foreign exchange difference was a gain of RM2.91 million.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 1.1 million. It was slightly high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 1.9 million and auditor’s remuneration of 66 thousands
