BURSA MALAYSIA –
Profit before tax decreased 50.0% to RM74.9 million from RM149.9 million achieved in the preceding financial year. Our revenue performance was largely impacted by lower contributions from both Oleochemical Manufacturing and Milling & Cultivation. Faced with such global headwinds, we remain cautious on the Group’s prospects. Near term, we will continue with our efforts to strengthen our operational platform and sustain a healthy balance sheet in navigating through these external challenges.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Our Group revenue declined 5.7% to RM280.1 million from RM297.0 million. The decline was due to lower revenue contribution from Oleochemical Manufacturing as compared to the first quarter of FY2023. Group PBT rose 8.0% to RM26.6 million from RM24.7 million achieved in the immediate preceding quarter. Our Milling & Cultivation and Healthcare Services achieved higher PBT, whilst our Oleochemical Manufacturing incurred LBT in the second quarter of FY2023.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax decreased by RM2.266 million to RM2.694 million in the current quarter as compared to RM4.960 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The decrease in the profit generated in the current quarter was mainly due to the gain on disposal of freehold land, factory building and plant and machinery recorded in the immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group PBT decreased 16.0% to RM29.7 million from RM35.4 million reported in the preceding quarter. This was mainly due to a lower contribution from our Oleochemical Segment, which fell 86.0% in the comparative period.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group revenue increased 16.0% to RM258.0 million from RM222.4 million. The higher revenue was due to stronger revenue growth across all our three core business Segments. Group PBT was sharply higher at RM35.4 million from RM14.6 million achieve in the previous quarter. All our three core business Segments delivered improved profit performance in the quarter under review.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group PBT increased 35.5% to RM14.6 million from RM10.8 million reported in the previous quarter. This was mainly due to a stronger performance from the Oleochemical and Milling & Estate Segments as well as a gradual recovery in the Healthcare Segment.

BURSA MALAYSIA –

BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group PBT decreased 54.0% to RM8.5 million from RM18.6 million reported in the previous quarter. This was mainly due to a high base effect from the bumper performance in our Milling & Estate Segment in the immediate preceding quarter.
