BURSA MALAYSIA –
The group’s reported PBT decreased by RM6.3 million or 60% to RM4.12 million in the current financial year ended 30 June 2024 compared to previous financial year of RM10.4 million. This is mainly due to higher administrative expenses and finance charges in CFY. It should be noted that, the fair value gain on other investment of RM2.1 million was recorded in PFY. On the other hand, there is an unrealised forex loss arising from USD loan amounted to RM1.3 million reported in CQ. Going forward, We will continue to actively participate in tenders for oil and gas and renewal energy projects. In addition, we will implement our business strategies cautiously to sustain its growth in order to deliver a satisfactory performance in the financial year 2024.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group revenue for the CQ increased by RM24.3 million to RM41.4 million as compared to the PQ. The increase in revenue is mainly due to contribution from renewable energy segment. The Group’s PBT improved by RM5.6 million in CQ. The increase in PBT was in line with the increase in revenue in CQ. Besides, It should be noted that, a fair value loss of other investment of RM2.25mil was charged in PQ.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group revenue for the CQ increased by RM10.7 million to RM17.2 million as compared to the PQ. The increase in revenue is due to more activities from both oil and gas and renewal energy segments. The Group’s LBT reduced by RM1.1 million in CQ. The decrease in LBT was in line with the increase in revenue in CQ. It should be noted that, a fair value loss of other investment of RM2.25mil was charged in CQ.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group revenue for the CQ increased RM9.7 million to RM38.2 million as compared to the PQ. The increase in revenue is due to the reason as discussed in note B1(a) above. The Group’s PBT increased by RM3.9 million in CQ. The increase in PBT was in line with the increase in revenue in CQ.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group revenue for the current quarter increased RM16.65 million to RM28.53 million as compared to the previous quarter. The Group’s PBT increased by RM5.02 million to RM5.33 million in the current quarter. The increase in revenue was mainly due to recognition of revenue arise from increase in number of jobs in Mauritania. In line with the increase in revenue, the PBT has also improved accordingly.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s PBT declined by RM9.48 million or 97% in CQ. The declined was due to the recognition of the deferred income from our perforating, wash and cement contract in Mauritania in PQ.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax only increased by RM0.22 million from RM1.18 million in the preceeding quarter to RM1.40 million in this current quarter. This was due to the recognition of the one-off listing expenses of RM1.05 million and RM0.11 million impairment loss on trade receivables.
The Star –
Reservoir Link Energy’s 60%-owned subsidiary has bagged a contract from Thailand’s national petroleum company PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Ltd (PTTEP). The contract is to provide downhole heating technology complete with equipment and services.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group revenue for the current quarter decreased by RM6.32 million to RM16.54 million as compared to the preceding financial quarter of RM22.86 million. The decrease was mainly due to the suspension of the Group’s perforation, wash and cement contract in Mauritania and the MCO had caused delay in some of the Group’s work.
