BURSA MALAYSIA –
In the fnancial year under review, the Group invested in new facilities as well as in upgrading and/or acquiring machinery and equipment. Accordingly, Proft Before Tax fell to RM4.1 million from RM13.8 million in FYE 2022 primarily due to higher operating cost from these new capital investments. On that basis, the Group is confdent that its capital investments which resulted in expansion of production capacity by 3 times in past 2 years will pay off and as the Group is now well-positioned to cater to a signifcant increase in sales. The orders and progress of the FAPE segment are robust as the Group continues to secure new projects from new and existing customers especially from the Semiconductor industry
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue of RM26.7 million which was lower by RM6.3 million compared to Q1’23. The lower revenue was mainly due to lower demand from customers in both the EPP and FAPE segments. In tandem with the lower revenue, the Group reported a lower PBT of RM2.1 million compared to RM3.2 million. As a result, PATMI was also lower at RM1.6 million for this quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue of RM33.0 million which was lower by RM2.5 million compared to Q4’22. This 7% decrease in revenue resulted in the Group reporting a lower PBT of RM3.2 million compared to RM3.9 million in 4Q22. As a result, PATMI was lower at RM2.3 million for this quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue of RM35.50 million which was lower by RM4.69 million or 12% as compared to Q3’22 of RM40.19 million. The decrease was mainly due to slightly lower sales volume as compare to Q3’22. Overall, the Group reported a lower PBT to RM3.97 million in the current quarter due to the lower revenue.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group enjoyed quarter-on-quarter (“QoQ”) revenue growth of 53% (which reached RM40.19 million) when compared to Q2’22 of RM26.19 million. This is mainly due to increase in demand for hygiene care, air care products and inclusion of APE segment results. Consistent with the revenue growth, Q3’22 PBT also rose 51% QoQ to RM4.66 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group enjoyed quarter-on-quarter revenue growth of 35% (which reached RM26.19 million) when compared to Q1’22. At the same time, Q2’22 PBT also rose 47% QoQ to RM3.08 million. The core ODM business continues to do well and forms 74% of the Group’s overall revenue despite the supply interruptions and logistical challenges. The new APE segment following the acquisition of TDSB in early October 2021 contributed the remaining 26% to the revenue
BURSA MALAYSIA –
RGT Berhad achieved a revenue of RM130.36 million with a profit before taxation of RM18.81 million. This strong increase in performance was mainly driven by the surge in demand for Hygiene Care Products such as soap and sanitizer dispensers which are widely used to prevent and control the spread of infectious diseases. With the acquisition of Top Degree (M) Sdn. Bhd., the Group will leverage on its current and prospective customer base and network where the Group may derive business synergies from its manufacturing segments and have cross selling opportunities in the enlarged group.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The revenue for the current quarter decreased by 66% quarter-on-quarter to RM10.95 million. The decrease in demand was mainly due to reduce orders received from the customers who experienced a temporary congestion at their warehouse. The lower revenue resulted in the Group reporting a Loss before Tax of RM2.05 million in this quarter compared to a Profit before Tax of RM4.06 million in the immediate preceding quarter
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Profit before Tax fell by 48% from RM7.80 million to RM4.06 million compared to the immediate preceding quarter, mainly due to the lower revenue coupled with the drop in Gross Profit Margin from 26.1% to 23.6%. The fall in Gross Profit Margin is mainly due to the US Dollar having depreciated by 2% on average against Ringgit Malaysia on a quarter-to-quarter basis.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The increase in revenue by 59% to RM41.76 million as compared to the RM26.33 million revenue of the immediate preceding quarter is mainly underpinned by the strong demand from our customer for the Hygiene Care Products due to rising concerns about personal hygiene. With this 59% increase in revenue, the profit for the period nonetheless doubled or an increase of 100% due in part to efficiency gains from the economies of scale while the Group experienced slower increment in its overall cost base.
