BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a loss after taxation of RM3.1 million for the current financial year ended 31 December 2023 as compared to a loss of RM1.1 million registered in the previous financial year. This was mainly due to the drop in gross profit margin from 10.4% to 8.7% during the current financial year. The shortage of the resin supply coupled with the depreciation of Malaysian Ringgit will continue to add burden to the costs of raw material and overall production. In order to mitigate these factors, the managment has deployed significant resources and prioritised the improvemnet on quality, productivity and cost effectiveness in our short and mid term plans. We will also continue to develop revenue growth strategy and strengthen the relationship with the key customers in order to achieve organic growth in the long run.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a loss after taxation of RM1.1 million for the current financial year ended 31 December 2022 as compared to a profit of RM1.0 million registered in the previous financial year. This was mainly due to drop in gross profit margin from 13.72% to 9.87% during the current financial year. Moving forward, the Group is expected to face costs pressure from higher manufacturing costs i.e. Amended Employment Act changes on working hours i.e. 45 hours per week, Minimum Pay & Tenaga National Bhd new electricity tarrif rates and transport costs. The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine will continue to cause a lot of uncertainty into the global economic outlook. In order to mitigate these factors, it is crucial for us to endeavour to strengthen our competitiveness through the continued acquisition of the appropriate technologies, enhancing skills training, improving productivity and enhance our marketing capabilities.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s Revenue for the current 3 rd Quarter ended 30 September 2022 increased by RM0.4 million or 3% as compared to the preceding 2 nd Quarter ended 30 June 2022. The increase in revenue was mainly due to higher demand of both injection and blowing moulding products. The performance of the Group was improved since there are some sales order increase by certain existing customers. The Group recorded a Profit Before Tax of RM0.75 million in the Current 3rd Quarter as compared to a Profit Before Taxation of RM0.119 million for the preceding 2nd Quarter ended 30 June 2022.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a Profit Before Tax of RM0.119 million in the Current 2nd Quarter as compared to a Loss Before Taxation of RM0.863 million for the preceding 1st Quarter ended 31 March 2022. The increase in average selling price (ASP) and improvement in operating cost contributed to the profit margin improvement as compared to the preceding 1 st Quarter ended 31 March 2022.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a Loss Before Tax of RM0.863 million in the Current 1st Quarter as compared to a Profit Before Taxation of RM0.141 million for the preceding 4th Quarter ended 31 December 2021. This was mainly due to the global increase in raw material cost and operational cost impacted by the Russo-Ukrainian War. The average selling price (ASP) maintained at old rate and not in tandem with the increase in raw material price which caused a lower profit margin as compared to the preceding 4th Quarter ended 31 December 2021.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a Profit Before Tax of RM0.2 million in the Current 4th Quarter as compared to a Loss Before Taxation of RM0.41 million for the preceding 3rd Quarter ended 30 September 2021. This was mainly due to better sales mix, lower financial costs and Selling and Distribution expenses.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a Profit Before Tax of RM0.2 million in the Current 4th Quarter as compared to a Loss Before Taxation of RM0.41 million for the preceding 3rd Quarter ended 30 September 2021. This was mainly due to better sales mix, lower financial costs and Selling and Distribution expenses.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a Loss Before Tax of RM0.04 million in the Current 3rd Quarter as compared to a Profit Before Taxation of RM0.79 million for the preceding 2nd Quarter ended 30 June 2021. This was mainly attributed to the reversal of provision for doubtful debts of RM0.65 million in the preceding 2nd Quarter ended 30 June 2021.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s Profit Before Tax improved by RM0.48 million to RM0.79 million in the Current 2nd Quarter, which was mainly attributed to the reversal of provision for doubtful debts in the current 2nd Quarter ended 30 June 2021.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s Profit Before Tax decreased by RM0.7 million to RM0.4 million in the Current 1st Quarter despite of higher Revenue. This was mainly attributed to higher raw material prices recorded in the current 1st Quarter ended 31 March 2021.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group has incurred a loss before taxation of RM1.333 million for the current quarter under review as compared to loss before taxation of RM0.832 million in the preceding quarter. This higher loss in the current quarter can be mainly attributable to the full impact of the restrictions imposed by the MCO due to the Covied-19 pandemic.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue of RM13.626 million as compared to RM13.140 million in the preceding quarter. The Group has incurred a loss before taxation of RM0.832 million for the current quarter as compared to RM2.686 mllion in preceding quarter. This higher loss was mainly due to the provision for doubtful debts of RM1.568 million and the provision for slow moving inventories of RM0.777 million.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 0.43 million. It was slightly low compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 10.8 million and auditor’s remuneration of 98 thousands
