BURSA MALAYSIA –
The group recorded, profit before tax for the financial year ended 31 December 2022 rose 519.8% to RM15.7 million as compared to RM2.5 million in FYE2021. The higher PBT recorded wa due to improved margin and higher growth rate via effective cost control. Moving forward, the Group will continue upgrading its existing open system chicken houses to closed house system as part of organic growth strategy. The closed house system is expected to boost productivity and reduce bird mortality by creating a more controlled and efficient environment for the chickens, in addition to being environmental friendly and prevent disease outbreak among the flocks. The Group has recently invested in the fast food industry by partnering with L.A. Chicken brand. The aim is to expand the Group’s presence downstream into the food and beverage industry. The Group will continue its diversification drive to identify market and industry where they could leverage on their strength and competitive advantage and add value to the Group.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group revenue for quarter to 30 September 2022 increased by 29.91% to RM151.66 million compared to RM116.75 million recorded in the immediate preceding quarter. The higher revenue was mainly due to higher sales quantity of broiler and eggs during the quarter under review. Pre-tax profit decreased by RM1.67 million to RM3.16 million compared to RM4.83 million recorded in the immediate preceding quarter mainly due to lower average selling price of broiler.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Pre-tax profit increased by RM3.41 million to RM4.84 million compared to RM1.43 million recorded in the immediate preceding quarter mainly due to subsidies received from government and improved fair value gain on biological assets.

Group revenue for quarter to 31 December 2021 increased 17.28% from RM95.45 million recorded in the immediate preceding quarter to RM111.95 million as a result of increase in selling price of broiler. Pre-tax profit improved by RM11.47 million to RM7.87 million mainly attributable to higher selling price of broiler.

The Group however reported loss before tax of RM6.29 million compared with profit before tax of RM4.56 million in the immediate preceding quarter attributed by lower selling price of eggs and higher cost of raw material.

Group revenue for quarter to 31 March 2021 increased from RM82.233 million recorded in the immediate preceding quarter to RM90.420 million, or 10.0% as average selling price of broiler increased during the quarter under review. The Group however reported lower profit before tax of RM4.557 million compared with RM6.173 million in the immediate preceding quarter representing decrease of 26.2%. The lower profit was attributable to effect of fair value gain on investment properties and biological assets recognised in the preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group revenue for quarter to 31 December 2020 continue to improve as it rose 2.6% from RM80.142 million recorded in the immediate preceding quarter to RM82.234 million as the Group increased its sales volume during the quarter under review. The Group reported 49.5% higher profit before tax of RM6.174 million compared with RM4.129 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The improved result was mainly due to fair value gain on investment properties and biological assets.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM65.230 million compared with RM88.368 million of preceding quarter. The decrease was due to drop in demand and selling price of broilers from the effect of initial stage of MCO. Loss before tax of the Group improved to RM3.891 million during the current quarter from RM4.701 million recorded in the preceding quarter. The improved performance was attributable to higher valuation of biological assets.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded total revenue of RM88.368 million compared with RM84.032 million of preceding quarter. The increase was due to higher average selling price of broiler. Loss before tax of RM4.701 million for the current quarter was higher by 0.4% compared with loss of RM4.683 million in the preceding quarter. The weaker performance was attributable to changes in fair value of biological assets.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 4.91 million. It was high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 30.2 million and auditor’s remuneration of 194 thousands
