BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a loss before tax (“LBT”) of RM23.686 million versus RM15.070 million in FY2021 due to lower operational profit from the Construction segment and higher operating expenses from the Plantation segment. Moving Forward, the Group aims to focus on mitigating the shortage via the retention of existing workers, improving harvesters’ productivity and expediting the recruitment process of the new intake of foreign workers.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a revenue of RM54.1 million and a LBT of RM9.9 million for the current financial quarter as compared to a revenue of RM51.5 million and a LBT of RM4.7 million in the immediate preceding financial quarter, representing a positive variance in revenue of RM2.6 million (5%) and increase in LBT of RM5.2 million. The higher LBT for the current financial quarter was mainly from the Plantation segment due to lower average CPO price and higher operating expenses arising from increased field upkeep activities.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a revenue of RM56.8 million and a LBT of RM0.4 million for the current financial quarter as compared to a revenue of RM73.9 million and a LBT of RM6.6 million in the immediate preceding financial quarter, representing a decrease in revenue of RM17.1 million (-23%) and a lower LBT of RM6.2 million (94%) respectively. The lower LBT for the current financial quarter was mainly due to lower operating expenses and finance costs
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a revenue of RM73.9 million and a LBT of RM6.6 million for the current financial quarter as compared to a revenue of RM64.4 million and a LBT of RM5.7 million in the immediate preceding financial quarter, representing an increase in revenue of RM9.5 million (15%) and a negative variance in LBT by RM0.9 million (16%) respectively. The negative variance in LBT for the current financial quarter was mainly due to higher operating expenses.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a revenue of RM64.4 million and a LBT of RM5.7 million for the current financial quarter as compared to a revenue of RM65.7 million and a LBT of RM3.8 million in the immediate preceding financial quarter, representing a decrease in revenue of RM1.3 million (2%) and a negative variance in LBT by RM1.9 million (50%) respectively. The lower revenue and negative variance in LBT for the current financial quarter was mainly due to slightly lower revenue contribution from all segments
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a lower revenue of RM65.7 million and a LBT of RM3.8 million for the current financial quarter compared to revenue of RM151.0 million and a PBT of RM1.0 million in the immediate preceding financial quarter, representing a decrease in revenue of RM85.3 million (56%) and a negative variance in (LBT)/PBT by RM4.8 million (>100%) respectively. The lower revenue and negative variance in (LBT)/PBT for the current financial quarter was mainly due to the completion of the construction works of the UiTM-Z1P3 and hand over of the completed facilities to UiTM in the previous financial quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported a higher revenue of RM151.0 million and a PBT of RM0.5 million for the current financial quarter as compared to a revenue of RM103.0 million and a PBT of RM16.8 million in the immediate preceding financial quarter, representing a increase in revenue of RM48.0 million (47%) and a negative variance in PBT by RM16.3 million (-97%) respectively. The negative variance in PBT was mainly due to higher operating expenses and finance costs.
The Edge –
Puncak Niaga Holdings Bhd said apart from its plan to undertake a rights issue of convertible secured Islamic debt securities (CSIDS), the group is not aware of any developments that could explain the sharp rise in the price and volume of its shares. Last Friday, the group was slapped with an unusual market activity (UMA) query by Bursa Malaysia after its share price surged 51.79% or 14.5 sen to close at 42.5 sen.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reporting a lower revenue of RM81.5 million and a higher LBT of RM15.8 million for the current financial quarter as compared to a revenue of RM110.3 million and a LBT of RM1.2 million in the immediate preceding financial quarter, mainly due to the impositions of the MCO, CMCO and RMCO by the Government leading to the slow work progress at the Group’s ongoing projects’ construction sites
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue of RM110.3 million which dropped 22% from RM142.3 million in the preceding quarter, mainly due to the MCO leading to the slow down of the progress on site for both the Construction segment and Concession segment. The Group reported a lower LBT by RM7.8 million which dropped 87% from RM9.0 million in the preceding quarter, mainly due to lower operating expenses.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 5.71 million. It was slightly high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 46.1 million and auditor’s remuneration of 479 thousands
