BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group achieved a pre-tax profit of RM2.25 billion, a 50% increase in FY2022 as compared to RM1.49 million in the previous year. Going Forward, the Grains and Agribusiness segment will continue to leverage on its market intelligence to drive procurement and operational efficiencies. While, The Consumer Products segment will continue to improve operational efficiencies through its integrated marketing system and established nation-wide distribution network in distributing a widely-accepted range of necessities, and in expanding its range of consumer products. And The Property segment will continue to focus on planned development projects in Kedah and Penang, as well as enhancing the malls performance.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
For 3Q2022, the Group’s profit before taxation increased to RM813 million from RM752 million recorded in 2Q2022. The higher contribution from Wilmar at RM721 million (2Q2022: RM598 million) was the main factor contributing to the strong performance achieved in 3Q2022, it was however partly mitigated by the lower contribution from the Grains and agribusiness segment.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group profit before taxation for 2Q2022 increased to RM752 million from RM239 million recorded in 1Q2022. All key segments recorded improvement in business performance during the quarter. In addition, the higher contribution from Wilmar at RM598 million (1Q2022: RM394 million) also contributed positively to the strong performance achieved in 2Q2022.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group pre-tax profit was significantly higher at RM492 million for 4Q2021. This was mainly attributable to higher contribution from Wilmar by RM44 million to RM476 million and lower losses from the Film exhibition and distribution segment by RM28 million to RM13 million
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group pre-tax profit was significantly higher at RM415 million for 3Q2021 (2Q2021: RM145 million). This was mainly attributable to higher contribution from Wilmar by RM183 million to RM432 million (2Q2021: RM249 million) and the turnaround of the Grains and agribusiness segment with a profit of RM24 million (2Q2021: RM72 million loss).
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group pre-tax profit decreased by 68% to RM145 million for 2Q2021 (1Q2021: RM447 million). This was mainly attributable to a loss of RM72 million recorded at the Grains and agribusiness segment (1Q2021: RM124 million profit), and lower contribution from Wilmar by RM96 million to RM249 million (1Q2021: RM345 million).
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group pre-tax profit increased by 12% to RM447 million for 1Q2021 (4Q2020: RM400 million). This was mainly attributable to higher contribution from Grains and agribusiness segment by RM83 million to RM124 million (4Q2020: RM41 million), partially offset by lower contribution from Wilmar by RM42 million to RM345 million (4Q2020: RM387 million).
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Group pre-tax profit was higher at RM390 million in 2Q2020 (1Q2020: RM201 million) mainly due to higher contribution from Wilmar at RM282 million (1Q2020: RM165 million) and Grains and agribusiness segment at RM127 million (1Q2020: RM54 million).

Group pre-tax profit was lower at RM201 million in 1Q2020 (4Q2019: RM389 million) mainly due to lower contribution from Wilmar at RM165 million (4Q2019: RM308 million) and the Film exhibition and distribution segment which recorded a loss of RM19 million (4Q2019: profit of RM12 million).
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 9.46 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 373 million and auditor’s remuneration of 800 thousands
