BURSA MALAYSIA –
Our Group recorded a lower LAT of RM12.6 million for FYE 31 March 2023 as compared to LAT of RM20.7 million for FYE 31 March 2022. This was due to the higher GP for FYE 31 March 2023 and lower general and administrative expenses for the current financial year. Our profitability is largely impacted by fluctuations in copper prices, as copper clad laminate cost represents more than 70% of our Group’s cost of sales. This has a material impact on our GP margin. In this respect, we have entered into agreements with our customers to adjust our selling price based on the prevailing market price. Moving forward, our Group will constantly monitor copper prices and our inventory position so as to mitigate the impact of adverse copper price movements. For our venture in Glove Business, our Group has yet to commence the manufacture and sale of rubber gloves in view of the decline in the average selling price of gloves
