BURSA MALAYSIA –
For the financial year ended 30 June 2024, the Group recorded a revenue of RM511.6 million and net profit of RM60.8 million compared to a revenue of RM361.7 million and net profit of RM38.5 million for the previous financial year ended 30 June 2023. The higher revenue and net profit recorded was mainly comtributed by both property and hotel division. Going forward, the Group will remain prudent in all its business operations, implement measures to mitigate risks, closely monitor both local and global developments, and continue to emphasise on cost management and efficiency improvement across its business operations.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a profit before tax of RM6.1 million for the current quarter ended 30 September 2022 as compared to a profit before tax of RM15.6 million for the immediate preceding quarter. The lower revenue in the current quarter was mainly due to higher sales from completed stocks Phase 19&20 (2A & 2B) – Harp, double storey cluster homes at Taman Desa Tebrau and higher contribution from on-going Phase 19 & 20 (3A) – Cello, double storey terrace houses at Taman Desa Tebrau in immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a profit before tax of RM15.6 million for the current quarter as compared to a profit before tax of RM4.7 million for the immediate preceding quarter. The higher revenue was mainly due to higher sales from completed stocks Phase 19&20 (2A & 2B) – Harp, double storey cluster homes at Taman Desa Tebrau and higher contribution from on-going Phase 19 & 20 (3A) – Cello, double storey terrace houses at Taman Desa Tebrau and Bintang Maya 3 Double Storey House in Sungai Petani, Kedah. Additionally, hotel operations contributed higher revenue if compared to immediate preceding quarter attributable to long weekends and public holidays in May and June which boosted higher occupancy rate and average daily rate.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a profit before tax of RM4.7 million for the current quarter ended 31 March 2022 as compared to a profit before tax of RM11.4 million for the immediate preceding quarter. The lower revenue in the current quarter was mainly due to a one-off gain from sale of a parcel of land in Kedah recognised in the immediate preceding quarter, as well as pre-opening expenses and transaction costs incurred by Ascott Gurney Penang and hotel in Osaka respectively.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a profit before tax of RM11.4 million for the current quarter ended 31 December 2021 as compared to a profit before tax of RM10.6 million for the immediate preceding quarter. The higher profit in the current quarter was mainly due to a one-off gain from sale of a parcel of land in Kedah.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a profit before tax of RM8.3 million for the current quarter ended 31 March 2021 as compared to a profit before tax of RM2.8 million for the immediate preceding quarter. The higher revenue in the current quarter was mainly due to higher sales contribution recognised from completed project Phase 4E – Topaz, 2 & 3 Storey Terrace Houses at Taman Putra Prima in Selangor. The higher profit in the current quarter was mainly attributable to higher dividend income from short term investment during the quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a profit before tax of RM3.0 million for the current quarter ended 30 September 2020 as compared to a profit before tax of RM4.0 million for the immediate preceding quarter. The higher profit in the previous quarter was mainly due to higher other income recognition arising from reversal of provision for cost to completion.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 0.27 million. It was low compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 31.9 million and auditor’s remuneration of 378 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a profit before tax of RM4.1 million for the current quarter ended 30 June 2020 as compared to a profit before tax of RM11.6 million for the immediate preceding quarter. The COVID-19 pandemic has adversely impacted the tourism
and hospitality industry, hotel operations suffered a significant drop of revenue from previous quarter’s RM11.8 million to RM1.1 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax of RM11.6 million for the current quarter as compared to a RM8.2 million for the preceding quarter. The higher profit was mainly due to higher revenue recognition by Phase 19 & 20 – Harp, double storey cluster homes (2A) at Taman Desa Tebrau in Johor and Phase 4E – Topaz, 2 & 3 Storey Terrace Houses at Taman Putra Prima in Selangor which have delivered vacant possession.
