BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a profit before tax (PBT) of RM82.06 million in FY2022, a 10.37% (RM7.71 million) increase from RM74.35 million in FY2021. The higher PBT in FY2022 was mainly due to an increase in revenue (RM140.07 million), and higher scrap sales (RM3.20 million), partially offset by higher cost of goods sold (RM124.25 million), higher operating expenses (RM7.95 million), lower interest income (RM0.15 million), higher interest expenses (RM1.28 million), lower rental income (RM0.68 million) and higher allowance of slow-moving inventory (RM1.25 million). Moving Forward, the Group expects another strong growth in view of business revenue and diversity for the financial year ended 31 December 2023 (FY2023) With active engagement with few new potential customers.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group profit before tax for the current quarter has increased by 54% as compared to precedingquarter. The increase was mainly due to high margin of product mix, reversal of provision for slowmoving inventories and lower administrative and distribution expenses but was offset provision ofimpairment of trade receivables and lower gain from foreign currency exchange transaction.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group profit before tax for the current quarter has decreased by 45% as compared to preceding quarter. The decrease was mainly due to higher administrative and distribution, labour cost and provision for slow moving inventories, low income from other investment and scrap sales. The decrease was partially offset against higher revenue, obtained new product orders from new customers for electronics manufacturing activities (EMS) and higher gain from foreign exchange transaction.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group profit before tax for the current quarter has decreased by 5% as compared to preceding quarter. The decrease was mainly due to lower revenue, lower margin of products mix and fair value gain adjustment on investment propertiesbut was offset against lower administrative and distribution expenses,income from scrap sales and reversal of provision slow moving inventories.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group profit before tax for the current quarter has increased by 38% as compared to preceding quarter. The increase was mainly due to higher revenue and higher margin of products mix, fair value gain adjustment on investment properties, gain from foreign currency exchange transaction, and reversal of provision slow moving inventories but was offset against higher administrative and distribution expenses.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group profit before tax for the current quarter has increased by 4% as compared to preceding quarter. The increase was mainly due to increase of revenue, reversal of impairment of trade receivables and lower administrative and distribution expenses but was offset provision for slow moving inventories, lower gain from foreign currency exchange transaction and income from other investment.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group profit before tax for the current quarter has increased to RM17.2 million or by 15% as compared to preceding quarter. The increase was mainly due to higher margin of products mix and higher gain from foreign currency translation but was offset higher administrative and distribution expenses, provision for slow moving inventories and impairment of trade receivables.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
the profit before tax soared by RM16.734 million or 915%. The increase was mainly attributable to higher revenue, income from scrap sales, and reversal of provision for slow moving inventories in the current quarter as compared to the corresponding quarter. However, the improvement noted above were offset against higher administrative and distribution expenses as well as loss from foreign currency exchange transaction.
The Star –
Kenanga Research raised its earnings outlook on PIE Industrial Bhd on the back of stronger prospects from a new customer’s entertainment device. The research house upgraded the stock to “outperform” as it raised earnings forecasts for FY20/FY21 by 21%/19% to RM23.6mil/RM66.5mil as it anticipated continuing recovery momentum with strong contribution from the customer. Its fair value on stock rose to RM3.30 from a previous target of RM2.32 based on a valuation of 19x forecast FY21 price-earnings, up from 16x previously.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax for the current quarter has increased by 4,174% as compared to preceding quarter. The main reason for the increase it was due to the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) has announced that allowed full capacity to be operated during the MCO period effective from 29 April 2020. The Group started full capacity production and cleared the backlog of orders which resulted in revenue growth in the third quarter but was offset against lower gain from foreign currency translation and higher administrative and distribution expenses.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax for the current quarter has increased by 77% as compared to preceding quarter. The increase was mainly due to the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) has announced that allowed full capacity to be operated during the MCO period effective from 29 April 2020 thereby recording revenue growth but was offset against lower gain from foreign currency translation, provision for slow moving inventories and impairment of trade receivables.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue has decreased by 37% as compared with the preceding quarter. The decrease was mainly due the US-China trade war and spread of COVID19 with worldwide lockdown have led to a decline in customer demand for EMS, raw cable & wire products and wire harness products. The Group’s profit before tax has decreased by 114% as compared to preceding quarter. The decrease was mainly due to lower revenue recorded and margin of products mix, investment income, income from scrap sales and provision for slow moving inventories but was offset against higher gain from foreign currency translation.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 3.22 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 85.4 million and auditor’s remuneration of 129 thousands
