BURSA MALAYSIA –
Total revenue dropped 38.53 per cent to RM104.06 million for the second quarter ended 30 September 2022, from the preceding quarter of RM169.30 million. The after-tax profit decreased to RM5.2 million from RM15.3 million in the preceding quarter. These were mainly due to the significant fall in revenue from China Apparel in this quarter and the one-off gain on the disposal of subsidiaries in the preceding quarter. The drop in revenue is partly attributed by China’s dynamic zero COVID-19 policy
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Total revenue grew 43.96 percent to RM169.30 million from the preceding quarter of RM117.60 million. This was due to the Cambodia revenue being back on track. The after-tax profit increased by approximately RM14.48 million or 1,742.72% from the preceding quarter. This was driven by robust sales performance and a gain on disposal of subsidiaries, MLM and MLP amounting to RM8.3million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The profit after tax of the Group was recorded at RM0.83 million as opposed to an after-tax loss of RM3.42 million recorded for the preceding quarter. This was driven by stronger revenue, despite the impacts of escalating energy prices, supply chain disruptions, and widespread wage pressures.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The loss after tax of the Group was recorded at RM3.42 million as opposed to an after-tax profit of RM1.17 million recorded for the preceding quarter. Despite the supply chain issue, Covid-19 disruptions, labor shortages, and high inflation have been a drag on our performance. Recruiting and retaining sewers are our biggest challenges right now.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Total revenue has increased from RM71.3 million recorded in the preceding quarter to RM103.6 million in the current quarter. The pre-tax profit of the Group recorded a profit of RM5.1 million as compared to a pre-tax loss of RM1.8 million recorded in the preceding quarter. This is the result of this quarter’s revenue from the Apparels segment mixed with the unrealized revenue of the previous quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Total revenue decreased from RM104.8 million recorded in the preceding quarter to RM96.9 million achieved in the current quarter. The pre-tax profit of the Group recorded a loss of RM2.2 million as compared with a pre-tax profit of RM2.1 million recorded for the preceding quarter. These were mainly due to the loss in Cambodia Apparel business and the unrealised foreign exchange loss of RM2.3 million for the current quarter resulting from translation of USD denominated balances.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Total revenue increased from RM94.4 million recorded in the preceding quarter to RM104.8 million achieved in the current quarter. The pre-tax profit of the Group recorded at RM2.1 million as compared with a pre-tax profit of RM7.1 million recorded for the preceding quarter mainly due to the unrealised forex gain in the Group in the preceding quarter.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 3.45 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 106.6 million and auditor’s remuneration of 127 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Total revenue decreased from RM108.7 million recorded in the preceding quarter to RM94.4 million in the current quarter. The pre-tax profit of the Group recorded at RM7.1 million as compared with a pre-tax profit of RM1.2 million recorded for the preceding quarter mainly due to the unrealised forex gain in the Group.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Total revenue increased from RM107.6 million in preceding quarter to RM108.7 million in current quarter. The pre-tax profit of the Group recorded at RM1.2 million as compared with a pre-tax profit of RM4.3 million recorded for the preceding quarter mainly due to the decrease of order in China Apparel and this resulted in a less profit contribution from China Apparel.
