BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a Profit Before Tax (PBT) on RM79.0 million in the current year as compare to RM138 million in FYE2021. The group received a compensation of EUR6.5 million for early termination of the German logistic center lease from 5 Years to 3 Years. Excluding this non-recurring gain and related provisions arising from the early termination, the group’s normalised PBT amounts to RM51.0 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue decreased to RM228.6 million in the current quarter as compared to RM326.4 million in the preceding quarter. The final quarter is a weak quarter for the Group’s school products due to the holiday season in particular the European region. The Group recorded profit before tax of RM15.4 million in the current quarter as compared to profit before tax of RM40.5 million in the preceding quarter mainly due to the compensation received from lessor for earlier termination of lease. The compensation received was partially offset by the lower margin contribution as a result of lower sales during the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue increased to RM326.4 million in the current quarter as compared to RM295.9 million in the preceding quarter. The increase in revenue continue to be driven by the “back to school” season for the European region, in particular sales in Eastern Europe. As a result of higher sales, the Group recorded profit before tax of RM40.5 million in the current quarter as compared to profit before tax of RM26.7 million in the preceding quarter
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue increased to RM295.9 million in the current quarter as compared to RM200.4 million in the preceding quarter. The second quarter is normally a stronger quarter for the Group’s school products due to the “back to school” season in Europe. As a result of higher sales, the Group recorded profit before tax of RM26.7 million in the current quarter as compared to loss before tax of RM3.5 million in the preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded loss before tax of RM3.5 million in the current quarter as compared to profit before tax of RM96.5 million in the preceding quarter. In the preceding quarter, the Group recorded a gain from disposal of the German logistics centre and a restructuring provision.

The Group recorded profit before tax of RM96.6 million in the current quarter as compared to profit before tax of RM30.2 million in the preceding quarter mainly due to the gain from the disposal of the German logistics centre.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue increased to RM313.0 million in the current quarter as compared to RM287.3 million in the preceding quarter. As vaccination campaigns progressed and restrictions started to be lifted since the previous quarter, the Group’s revenue continue to be driven by the “back to school” season for the European region. Positive sales development was also evident in all other regions. As a result of higher sales, the Group recorded profit before tax of RM30.2 million in the current quarter as compared to profit before tax of RM20.8 million in the preceding quarter.

The Group’s revenue increased to RM287.3 million in the current quarter as compared to RM202.4 million in the preceding quarter. The second quarter is normally a stronger quarter for the Group’s school products due to the “back to school” season in Europe. As a result of the higher sales, the Group recorded profit before tax of RM20.8 million in the current quarter as compared to loss before tax of RM9.4 million in the preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a loss before tax of RM9.3 million in the current quarter as compared to loss before tax of RM20.9 million in the preceding quarter. In the previous quarter, the results were affected by provisions for redundancies and impairment of intangible assets.

The Group’s revenue increased to RM255.4 million in the current quarter as compared to RM207.3 million in the preceding quarter. The second quarter is normally a stronger quarter for the Group’s school products due to the “back to school” season in Europe and also due to easing of lockdowns and movement controls around the world.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a loss before tax of RM6.3 million in the current quarter as compared to loss before tax of RM17.4 million in the preceding quarter as a result of foreign exchange gain and no impairment of property, plant and equipment or one-off additional cost being incurred.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 2.29 million. It was low compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 304.4 million and auditor’s remuneration of 2257 thousands
