BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported an increase in top-line sales for current financial period ended 31 June 2024 with an increase of RM96.7 million (5.3%) to RM1.92 million on revenue, while there’s a decrease of profit before tax of RM99.2 million (-33.5%) to RM0.295 million. This is mainly due to a drop in the gross profit margin from 39% to 36%. In addition, the drop in profit before tax is also partly attributed by the rising staff costs. Moving forward, the group are optimistic that we will perform satisfactorily for the current financial year. Management will continue to provide value for money products and implementing measures to control costs, optimise working capital, preserve cash and streamline the operations to minimise any adverse impacts.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue and profit before tax for the current quarter under review decreased by approximately RM102.1 million (21.1%) and RM38.1 million (37.2%) respectively compared to the immediate preceding quarter. The decrease was mainly due to festive Hari Raya sales and mid-year school holidays in the previous quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue and profit before tax for the current quarter under review increased by approximately RM151.9 million (46.1%) and RM60.3 million (144.0%) respectively compared to the immediate preceding quarter. The increase was mainly due to festive Hari Raya sales and mid-year school holidays.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue and profit before tax for this quarter decreased by approximately RM97.8 million (22.9%) and RM39.9 million (48.8%) respectively compared to the immediate preceding quarter. The higher in the previous quarter was mainly due to festive season sales such as Christmas/Chinese New Year and year-end school holidays. Profit for current quarter was accordingly lower which included bonus payout for financial year 2022.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue and profit before tax for this quarter increased by approximately RM345.8 million (424.9%) and RM102.4 million (493.1%) respectively compared to the immediate preceding quarter. This was mainly due to increase in sales resulting from reopening of all outlets after lifting of FMCO on 15 August 2021 onwards and festive season such as Christmas season and year-end school holidays during current quarter under review.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue and Profit before tax for this quarter increased by approximately RM16.9 million (6.9%) and RM0.9 million (5.7%) respectively compared to the immediate preceding quarter. This was mainly due to more sales generated in the current quarter due to festive season of Chinese New Year.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 5.78 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 182.2 million and auditor’s remuneration of 214 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue and Profit before taxation for this quarter decreased by approximately RM173.1 million (-49.8%) and RM43.0 million (-178.1%) respectively compared to the immediate preceding quarter. This was mainly due to decrease in sales resulting from the implementation of Movement Control Orders since 18 March 2020 which restricted business operations at full capacity in current quarter under review.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Revenue and profit before tax for this quarter was RM347.3 million and RM24.1 million respectively as compared to revenue and profit before tax of RM495.1 million and RM75.2 million respectively in the preceding quarter. This was mainly due to decrease in sales resulting from the implementation of MCO which restricted business operations in full capacity and bonus payment.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 6.41 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 210.1 million and auditor’s remuneration of 214 thousands
