BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue for the second quarter of 2020 was RM 469.7 million, a decrease of RM 486.7 million or 50.9% from RM 956.4 million in Q1FY20, mainly due to lower contribution from automotive segment attributed to the lower number of cars sold for both retail operations in Singapore and Malaysia
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue for Q1FY20 was RM956.4 million, a decreased of RM144.1 million from RM1,100.5 million in Q4FY19, mainly due to lower contribution from automotive segment attributed to the lower number of cars sold especially for the retail operations in Malaysia. The Group recorded a loss before tax for Q1FY20 of RM160.2 million compared to a profit before tax of RM120.8 million for Q4FY19 mainly due to the unrealised foreign exchange losses from plantation segment.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 20.78 million. It was slightly high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 464.1 million and auditor’s remuneration of 773 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax for Q4FY19 decreased from RM 131.6 million in Q3FY19 to RM115.6 million. The lower profit before tax was mainly due to decrease in performance from automotive segment. Lower revenue and operating profit from automative segment were due to lower number of cars sold especially from retail operations in Singapore in line with lower COE issued.
