BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a reduced loss before tax of RM 14.56 million in FYE 30 June 2022 as compared to FYE 30 June 2021 of RM 40.26 million. The LBT for FYE 30 June 2022 was mainly due to impairment of goodwill and expenses arising from corporate exercise. On 20 July 2022, AP F&B acquired the entire equity interest in High Reserve F&B Sdn Bhd (HRFBSB). HRFBSB and its subsidiaries owns and operates 4 restaurants under the brand name of “Uncle Don’s” and is expected to
contribute positively to the group cash flow.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The loss before taxation for the current quarter is higher by 870.9% than the preceding quarter due to impairment of goodwill and additional provision for compensation to trade suppliers arising from legal suit.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The loss before taxation for the current quarter is lower by 0.6% than the preceding quarter due to sligjht improvement in operation of milling systems and solutions sector. The loss after taxation for the current quarter is higher by 20.2% than the preceding quarter due to additional payment of tax by a subsidiary company arising from prior year’s additional assessment.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported an increase in revenue by RM 2.2 million in the current quarter to RM 3.1 million from food and beverage sector due to dine-in impact, acquisition of Italian restaurant and sales from the wine trade. The Group’s reported LBT of RM 1.21 million for the current quarter under review as compared to the immediate preceeding quarter LBT of RM 0.96 million mainly due to corporate exercise expense. Doubtful debts written back has mitigated the LBT.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s reported LBT of RM 0.96 for the current quarter under review as compared to the immediate preceeding quarter LBT of RM 33.3 million. The Group’s reported LBT of RM 33.3 million for the immediate preceding quarter were mainly due to impairment of capital work in progress, intangible asset written off and impairment of goodwill.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a higher loss before tax of RM 40.26 million in FYE 30 June 2021 as compared to the 18 month-FPE 30 June 2020 of RM 2.31 million. The LBT was mainly due to the impairment of capital work-inprogress, write-off intangible asset, impairment of goodwill, one-off recognition payment for ex-key management employees and directors, and expenses arising from the Group’s corporate restructuring exercise. To broaden the Group’s revenue stream within the F&B service industry, the Board had decided to venture into readyto-eat convenient outlets through UD Express operations to cater to a different consumer segment, in particular, consumers who visit convenient outlets for ready to consume meals

Shares in Dolphin International Bhd rose 11% in early trade Friday following a technical buy from PublicInvest Research. The counter added 11.11%, or one sen to 10 sen, its highest since mid November 2020. Dolphin-WB rose 7.14%, or 0.5 sen to 7.5 sen. PublicInvest said Dolphin is staging a potential breakout from its sideways channel.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 1.1.2019 – 30.6.2020, the directors’ remuneration was 0.35 million. It was low compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 2.8 million and auditor’s remuneration of 205 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group registered a revenue of RM41.4 million for the current quarter ended 30 June 2020, an increase of RM35.2 million or 5.6x higher as compared to RM6.2 million for the immediate preceding quarter ended 31 March 2020. The increase in revenue was mainly due to the sale of short term marketable securities.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s reported loss before tax of RM1.20 million for the current quarter under review as compared to the immediate preceding quarter PBT of RM0.39 million. The PBT of RM0.39 million was due to the Group write back overprovision of administrative expense.

DOLPHIN (8 JAN 20) Pelaburan Mara Bhd (PMB) group chief operating officer Tengku Ahmad Badli Shah Raja Hussin has joined the board of directors of Dolphin International Bhd, a manufacturer of palm oil milling machinery, as an independent and non-executive director.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2018, the directors’ remuneration was 1.05 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 3.2 million and auditor’s remuneration of 159 thousands
