BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group has recorded a lower loss before taxation of RM2.70 million in the current financial year ended 30 June 2024 compared to a loss before taxation of RM9.49 million in the previous year. The reduction in loss before taxation mainly attributed to increased sales and corresponding gross profits, as well as higher other operating income mainly from interest income. Moving forward, In the property development and construction segment, the Group has recently secured a refurbishment project in Taiping, reflecting our strategic efforts to revitalize this segment. The Group is diligently working towards initiating development projects such as the Kinta Land and Bentong Project, both of which are in the pipeline.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The loss before taxation of RM9.49 million was primarily stemmed from lower sales of the manufacturing segments and the allowance for impairment losses provided for property development cost of RM7.82 million and finished goods of RM0.34 million in the property development and construction segment respectively. Looking ahead, recognising the persistent challenges in both the manufacturing and property development sectors, the Board remains committed to diligent management. The Board’s approach will prioritise prudence and costefficiency in all ventures. Additionally, the Board is dedicated to closely monitoring the property market, attuned to evolving customer preferences, as well as supply and demand conditions.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group revenue decrease by RM1.83 million or 11.65% from RM15.75 million to RM13.91millionincomparison to preceding quarter due to lower productivity arising from labour shortage. The Group loss before tax increased by RM0.50 million from profit of RM34,000 previous quarter due to the professional fee incurred during the quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reduced its net loss to RM7.2 million in the current financial period, representing a significant improved of 45.96% year-on-year as compared to RM13.3 million incurred in the previous financial year. Overall, the improved performance was primarily attributed to lower provision of impairment amounting to RM12.3 million on property development cost. For labour intensive Manufacturing segment, Caely Group will strive to improve the manufacturing efficiency and remain competitive by engaging more overseas sub-contractors particularly in Myanmar, Bangladesh and Indonesia, in effort to mitigate the rising labour cost and also advantage of export incentives granted by importing countries. On the other hand, Caely Group will continue to look for new buyers overseas to expand the revenue base by promoting Caely Group’s latest designs and quality of the ladies’ undergarments products. For the Direct Selling and Retail segment, the revenue contribution remains sluggish and will continue to focus on improving trading revenue
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a pre-tax loss of RM12.83 million for the current quarter underreview, as compared to a pre-tax loss of RM5.38 million reported in the correspondingfinancial period. The widen of losses was mainly due to major provisionforimpairment of receivables amounting to RM16.15 million in Property &Constructionsegment
The Star –
Caely Holdings Bhd’s shares were hotly traded in early trade Monday with some 70 million shares done, making it the most actively traded counter. The women intimate apparel manufacturer jumped 19.35%, or nine sen to 55.5 sen. Year-to-date, the counter has risen some 19.5%. In an earlier announcement, Caely will make fabric protective masks and personal protective equipment (PPE) for NiHsin Resources Bhd.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Caely has achieved its revenue of RM10.52 million in the Q1 FYE2021 as compared to RM18.03 million in the corresponding preceding quarter. The decrease of RM7.51 million or 41.65% on revenue was attributed to the implementation of Movement control Order (MCO) by the government of Malaysia during the quarter resulting by Covid-19 pandemic outbreak in the world as well as the weak property market in Malaysia.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported lower revenue of RM18.24 million, a RM7.06 million decline in sales as compared to RM25.30 million from the corresponding preceding quarter. The drop in revenue was mainly affected by the adverse global economy situation and Covid-19 pandemic which has caused sharp decline of demand in manufacturing segment during the quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a pre-tax loss of RM2.97 million for current quarter compared with pre-tax loss of RM0.74 million in the preceding quarter. The increase in pre-tax loss of RM2.23 million was mainly due to lower sales in manufacturing and property segment and provision of LAD compensation of a property development project and an one off charge out of development expenditure cost due to unsuccessful bidding of a property development project.
