BURSA MALAYSIA –
Profit before taxof N2N for the financial year ended 31 December 2022 amounted to RM 22 million, representing a 2.9% increase from the previous year (2021: RM 21 million). This increase was mainly attributable to lower operating expenses, higher other income and higher positive share of results of an associate arising from the gain due to effects of changes in ownership interest of the associate. Moving Forward, the group will be releasing a brandnew suite of ultra-low latency trading systems and our 4th generation trading platform, which has been the result of 8 years of intensive research and development. This new platform, coupled with comprehensive news and fundamental data from Morningstar, aims to provide an unparalleled level of improved stability and scalability, greatly enhancing the trading capabilities of our clients.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The effects of lower transaction based revenue and higher operating expenses on the Group’s Profit After Tax was softened by the combined effects of higher other operating income and lower share of losses in an associate compared to the immediate preceding quarter. As a result, the Group posted lower Profit After Tax of RM2.95 million for the current quarter compared to RM3.71 million in the immediate preceding quarter
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a lower revenue of RM26.16 million compared to RM26.76 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The lower revenue of 2.22% was due to decrease one time implementation revenue. Higher other operating income (forex gains) recorded in the quarter under review helped to soften the effects of lower transaction based revenue, higher expenses and higher share of loss of associated company resulting in the Group recording a Profit After Tax that was similar to the immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a lower profit after taxation of RM3.77 million for the quarter ended 31 March 2022 compared to a profit after taxation of RM7.08 million for the immediate preceding quarter. The lower profit after taxation of 46.8% was attributed to the combination of lower transaction based revenue and lower implementation revenue that carried higher margins and lower other operating income
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The combination of higher gross profit margins, a gain arising from the effects of changes in ownership interest of an associate and lower expenses resulted in the Group recording a higher profit after taxation of RM7.08 million for the current quarter compared to the previous quarter’s profit after tax of RM0.75 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a lower revenue of RM29.81 million for the current quarter compared to RM30.43 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The lower revenue of 2.04% was due to decrease in transaction based and subscription revenue.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a higher profit after taxation for the current quarter in comparison to the immediate preceding quarter by RM0.99 million. This was due mainly to the combination of higher profits margin and absence of provision for doubtful debts. These improvements were then offset by the absence of gain arising from effects of changes in ownership interest of an associate and absence of over provision of tax.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit after tax of RM6.56 million was 31.5% lower than the profit after tax of RM9.58 million recorded in the previous quarter. This was mainly due to the impact of the lower revenues and higher provision of doubtful debts which were softened by the gain arising from effects of changes in ownership interest of an associate and reversals of tax provisions of previous periods including tax savings for the 4th quarter of 2020 owing to the renewed MSC pioneer status incentive
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue for the quarter under review amounting to RM28.55 million was 8.72% higher than the previous quarter’s revenue of RM26.26 million. The higher revenues were mainly due to the higher monthly transaction fees resulting the increased trading volumes on Bursa’s market. The higher profits were mainly due to the combination of higher revenues and lower costs.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM26.26 million compared to RM26.23 million in the preceding quarter. The Group recorded a higher profit after taxation for the current quarter in comparison to the preceding quarter by RM2.19 million. This was mainly due to higher revenue, lower cost of sales and operating costs.
