BURSA MALAYSIA –
The group recorded lower Pre-tax profit of RM102.4 million in the FYE2022 as compared to RM422.5 million in the previous year due to a one-off gain in the previous year which arose from the disposal of an associate, Education Perfect Group Limited, a New Zealand company involved in online education sector, amounted to RM421 million. Moving Forward, The group’s pipeline in FY2023 includes the completion of The bond, a 6-storey commercial office and medical building adjacent to the Norwest private hospital and Swing City, a golf entertainment facility at Norwest.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue of RM213.01 million in the current quarter ended 30 September 2022 decreased by 15% as
compared to revenue of RM251.17 million in the preceding quarter. The decrease was mainly from the property and hospitality divisions and offset by the increase in the investment and others division. The Group’s pre-tax profit of RM3.56 million for the current quarter ended 30 September 2022 decreased as compared to pre-tax profit of RM40.77 million in the previous quarter aligned with the decrease in revenue
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s pre-tax profit of RM40.77 million for the current quarter ended 30 June 2022 increased as compared to pre-tax profit of RM37.69 million in the previous quarter was mainly attributed to the better performance in the hospitality division offset by underperformance of the property segment

The Group’s pre-tax profit of RM37.69 million for the current quarter ended 31 March 2022 increased significantly as compared to pre-tax loss of RM64.37 million in the previous quarter was mainly attributed to the better performance in the hospitality division

The Group’s pre-tax loss of RM47.88 million for the current quarter ended 31 December 2021 decreased significantly as compared to pre-tax profit of RM417.78 million in the previous quarter was mainly attributed to the one-off gain on the disposal of Education Perfect
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM261.69 million and pre-tax profit of RM39.11 million for the 2nd quarter of 2021 compared with revenue of RM223.51 million and pre-tax profit of RM30.04 million for the 1st quarter of 2021. The better performance was mainly due to higher pre-tax profits from the hospitality and property divisions by RM10.39 million and RM5.45 million respectively, offset by lower share of associated profit by RM5.91 million and pre-tax loss from the investment division by RM1.20 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM223.51 million and pre-tax profit of RM30.04 million for the 1st quarter of 2021 compared with revenue of RM225.15 million and pre-tax profit of RM13.84 million for the 4th quarter of 2020. The better performance was mainly due to higher pre-tax profits from the property division and share of associated profits by RM11.94 million and RM12.35 million respectively, offset by higher pre-tax loss from the hospitality division by RM10.91 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s hospitality division recorded revenue of RM12.79 million and pre-tax loss of RM21.49 million for the 2Q 2020 compared with revenue of RM82.03 million and pre-tax loss of RM6.41 million for the 1Q 2020. The weaker performance was mainly related to the closure of hotels in late March 2020 due to COVID-19 outbreak.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s property division recorded revenue of RM65.40 million and pre-tax profit of RM17.58 million for the 2Q 2020 compared with revenue of RM56.24 million and pre-tax profit of RM11.46 million for the 1Q 2020. The better performance was mainly due to higher settlements in the Mulpha Norwest developments in Australia.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2018, the directors’ remuneration was 3.92 million. It was slightly low compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 252.3 million and auditor’s remuneration of 288 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM161.43 million and pre-tax loss of RM18.24 million for 1Q2020 compared with revenue of RM319.24 million and pre-tax profit of RM171.59 million for 4Q2019. The weaker performance was mainly due to lower pre-tax profit from property, investment and hospitality divisions by RM85.08 million, RM78.56 million and RM34.02 million respectively.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Hospitality division recorded revenue of RM122.83 million and PBT of RM27.61 million for 4Q2019 compared to revenue of RM118.83 million and PBT of RM11.52 million for 3Q2019. The better performance was related to the disposal of Rydges Esplanade Resort, Cairns and higher occupancy rate and average room rate in InterContinental Sydney in Australia. Investment and others division recorded PBT of RM79.31 million for t4Q2019 as compared to LBT of RM327.10 million for 3Q2019 was due to impairment loss on investment in an associate.
