BURSA MALAYSIA –
For the financial year ended 30 June 2024, The Group’s PBT was RM6.4 million, a significant decrease from the RM47.3 million recorded in preceding financial year. This decrease was primarily driven by lower revenue, a reduced fair value gain on an unquoted investment and a lower net gain on foreign exchange. Going forward, the group’s partnership with Antmed Malaysia Sdn Bhd will strengthen Negeri sembilan’s position as a medical hub, attracting more medical-related businesses. Additionally, a new residential project named ASTRAL, featuring 117 link houses, is set to launch as the group expects the demand to remain strong, especially with the government’s First-time Buyer Scheme offering stamp duty exemptions.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax increased from RM31.0 million to RM47.3 million, an increase of RM16.3 million, mainly due to fair value gain on unquoted investment and higher net gain on foreign exchange in the investment holding segment. Capitalising on market improvement, West Synergy plans to launch two new projects – E10 and W1 – Both projects are landed residential properties. We expect to launch these projects in Q1 and Quarter 4 of 2024 respectively. The development of both projects is projected to yield over RM200 million in GDV. West Synergy will continue to capitalise on its huge remaining landbank of about 800 acres. The strong Government support for new home buyers will help spur Bandar Springhill’s development and improve the Group’s revenue.
