BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM3.2 billion and profit before tax of RM154 million in FY2022, compared to revenue of RM1.4 billion and profit before tax of RM61 million in FY2021. The better financial performance was largely due to more normalised operations after two years of COVID-19 related disruptions, which resulted in increased revenue and profit recognition from construction progress and a recovery in property sales. Looking ahead, MRCB remains well-positioned to create long-term value with a strong pipeline of property projects with a GDV of RM33 billion across 1,153 acres of land.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue and profit before taxation of RM833.9 million and RM37.7 million respectively, in the fourth quarter of 2022, compared to revenue of RM860.0 million and profit before taxation of RM55.9 million in the preceding quarter ended 30 September 2022. The higher revenue and profit before taxation recorded in the preceding quarter was mainly attributable to greater number of completed unsold inventory sales being recognised in the third quarter of 2022
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue and profit before taxation of RM860.0 million and RM56.7 million respectively, in the quarter ended 30 September 2022, compared to revenue of RM700.4 million and profit before taxation of RM28.1 million recorded in the preceding quarter ended 30 June 2022. The higher revenue and profit before taxation recorded in the current quarter compared to the preceding quarter was mainly attributable to increased profit contribution from the LRT3 construction project and the stronger sales in the Property Development & Investment Division in the third quarter of 2022.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue and profit before taxation of RM700.4 million and RM28.1 million respectively, compared to revenue of RM810.7 million and profit before taxation of RM31.8 million recorded in the preceding quarter. The lower revenue recorded in the current quarter compared to the preceding quarter was mainly due to lower revenue recognition from the LRT3 project, which was impacted by disruptions in its supply chain leading to a shortage of workers and essential building materials, and slowing down construction progress.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded profit before taxation of RM31.8 million, compared to profit before taxation of RM123.9 million recorded in the preceding quarter. The higher revenue recorded in the preceding quarter was mainly due to the higher revenue contributed by the LRT3 project compared to the current quarter, whilst higher profit was also recorded in the preceding quarter as a result of the RM123.7 million gain recognised under Other Operating Income in relation to 661.3 acres of land injected into MRCB’s 100% owned subsidiary, Seri Iskandar Development Corporation Sdn Bhd
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue and profit before taxation of RM859 million and RM123.9 million respectively, compared to revenue of RM137.9 million and loss before taxation of RM30.1 million recorded in the preceding quarter. Increase in Revenue and profits was mainly due to the completion of the acquisition of the 50% equity interest of SULSB in the 4 th quarter of 2021, which allowed the revenue and profits earned from the LRT3 project to be fully recognised and consolidated, and Other Operating Income arising from the land injection into SIDEC and the acquisition of SULSB
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue and profit before taxation of RM226.7 million and RM5.7 million respectively, in the quarter ended 31 March 2021, compared to revenue of RM308.9 million and profit before taxation of RM36.7 million recorded in the preceding quarter ended 31 December 2020. Despite stringent adherence to Covid Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), several project sites were voluntarily closed down for two weeks at a time as a precautionary measure when Covid-19 cases were detected. This hampered construction progress at the end of 2020, the impact of which continued into the period under review due to the resultant impact to construction progress and the billings.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM297.6 million and a profit before tax of RM7.6 million in the quarter ended 30 September 2020, compared to revenue of RM167.2 million and a loss before tax of RM222.0 million recorded in the preceding quarter ended 30 June 2020. The increase in revenue and profits in the quarter ended 30 September 2020 reflects the Group’s ability to recognise more revenue as construction progress began to pick up, albeit at a slower pace compared to pre-pandemic levels, after the commencement of the CMCO on 4 May 2020.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM167.2 million and a loss before tax of RM222.0 million in the current quarter, compared to revenue of RM425.8 million and profit before tax of RM26.9 million recorded in the preceding quarter ended 31 March 2020, mainly due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the halt in construction works during the MCO and CMCO periods which started from 18th March 2020.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue and profit before taxation of RM425.7 million in the quarter ended 31 March 2020, compared to revenue of RM471.6 million recorded in the preceding quarter ended 31 December 2019 on account of the seasonal festive period, as well as the halt in construction works during the Movement Control Order in the last 2 weeks of the quarter ended 31 March 2020.
REMUNERATION STUDY –

BURSA MALAYSIA –

The higher profit before tax was mainly due to the better performance from the Engineering, Construction & Environment Divisions, which contributed an operating profit of RM19.8 million compared to RM1.8 million in preceding quarter.
