BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded lower PBT by 31.6% amounting to RM117.2 million mainly due to absent of sale of land held for property development from Property Development and Construction Division and lower gross profit from Plantation Division as a result of lower average selling price of CPO and palm kernel and higher production cost. The Group’s planned launches in FYE2024 comprising of high rise service apartments and retail commercial shops development. The Group will continue to expand on the use of mechanical assisted collection of FFB to increase production efficiencies and to maximize oil extraction. Property Investment division is also expected to sustain an average occupancy rate of above 90% and maintaining an average rental yield approximately 3% to 4% for FYE2024
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue and profit before tax (“PBT”) increased by 6.0% and 6.3% to RM968.1 million (FY2021: RM913.6 million) and RM171.3 million (FY2021: RM161.1 million) For the financial year ended 30 September 2022 respectively mainly due to the contribution from Property Development and Construction Division which recorded higher turnover and profit recognition from ongoing projects, namely MIRAI Residences @ Kajang 2 Precinct 1, TR2 Residence @ Jalan Tun Razak, Iris @ Hillpark Shah Alam and Nexus @ Kajang Station and higher turnover from Plantation Division as a result of higher average selling price of crude palm oil.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue and profit before tax (“PBT”) increased by 6.0% and 6.3% to RM968.1 million (FY2021: RM913.6 million) and RM171.3 million (FY2021: RM161.1 million) For the financial year ended 30 September 2022 respectively mainly due to the contribution from Property Development and Construction Division which recorded higher turnover and profit recognition from ongoing projects, namely MIRAI Residences @ Kajang 2 Precinct 1, TR2 Residence @ Jalan Tun Razak, Iris @ Hillpark Shah Alam and Nexus @ Kajang Station and higher turnover from Plantation Division as a result of higher average selling price of crude palm oil.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Despite the higher revenue of RM259.4 million for the current quarter as compared to the preceding quarter of RM256.5 million, the Group recorded lower profit before tax of RM23.4 million in the current quarter as compared to the preceding quarter of RM54.0 million mainly due to absent of sale of land held for property development and higher interest expenses in the current quarter from the property and construction division and lower average selling price of CPO of RM2,804 per MT as compared to the preceding quarter of RM4,544 per MT from the plantation division.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded higher revenue and profit before tax of RM256.5 million and RM54.0 million in the current quarter as compared to the preceding quarter of RM248.0 million and RM50.2 million respectively due to sale of completed development properties and land held for property development. It was lowered by the plantation division due to increase in estate production cost as a result of the La-Nina weather effect coupled with the changes in fair value loss of biological assets of RM3.8 million in the current quarter
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded higher revenue and profit before tax of RM248.0 million and RM50.2 million in the current quarter as compared to the preceding quarter of RM204.3 million and RM42.7 million respectively due to higher profit recognition from the property and construction division’s ongoing projects namely, Inspirasi @ Mont Kiara and Nexus @ Kajang Station.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded higher profit before tax of RM42.7 million as compared to the preceding quarter of RM29.0 million mainly due to absence of changes in fair value losses of investment properties totaling RM5.0 million, absence of interest expense from unwinding of discount on landowners’ entitlements of RM6.0 million and absence of development expenditure expensed off of RM3.4 million in the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Despite the higher revenue of RM264.7 million in the current quarter as compared to the preceding quarter of RM227.5 million, the Group recorded lower profit before tax of RM36.7 million as compared to the preceding quarter of RM50.6 million mainly due to inclusion of unrealised foreign exchange losses of RM5.1 million in the current quarter as compared to unrealised foreign exchange gains of RM10.0 million in the preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded lower revenue of RM137.8 million in the current quarter as compared to the preceding quarter of RM243.3 million mainly due to lower revenue from the property development and construction division following the effects of the COVID-19. The plantation division’s revenue was lower due to lower CPO sales and average selling price of CPO in the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The current quarter profit before tax was higher by 23.8% to RM50.5 million as compared to the preceding quarter of RM40.8 million due to higher contribution from the plantation division as a result of the increase in CPO sales volume and average selling price of CPO. The increase in contribution was partially lower by the decrease in profit before tax from the two (2) divisions included property development and construction, and hotel and property investment following the implementation of MCO
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 20.85 million. It was high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 72.4 million and auditor’s remuneration of 607 thousands
