BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue of RM593.27 million and profit before tax of RM80.44 million for the financial year ended 31 December 2022 (“FY2022”) as compared to RM599.00 million and RM96.69 million respectively for the financial year ended 31 December 2021 (“FY2021”). The decrease in profit before tax by 17% was mainly due to A 10% decrease in FFB production, Increased costs of FFB production in variables such as fertiliser and labour costs, A fair value loss of RM2.47 million on biological assets and Decreases in power export and EFB Oil Sales volume by 12% and 24% respectively. Going Forward, The Group expects its FFB production to increase in 2023 as recently replanted areas have begun to reach maturity. Also, , The Group will continue to focus on improving their operating efficiency and productivity, particularly through increased mechanisation.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a profit before tax of RM14.63 million in the quarter under review as compared to a profit before tax of RM34.16 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The significant decrease in profit before tax was mainly due to the substantial decreases in the average selling prices of CPO, PK and FFB by 37%, 34%, and 42% respectively
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a profit before tax of RM26.09 million in the quarter under review as compared to a profit before tax of RM21.35 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The increase in profit before tax was mainly due to increases in average selling prices of CPO and FFB by 4% and 5%, increases in sales volume of CPO and PK by 19% and 16% and increase in FFB production by 16%.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a profit before tax of RM13.23 million in the quarter under review as compared to a profit before tax of RM12.44 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The increase in profit before tax was mainly due to lower administrative expenses incurred in the current quarter under review.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a profit before tax of RM11.67 million in the quarter under review as compared to a profit before tax of RM7.29 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The increase in profit before tax was mainly due to increase in FFB production by 9%, increases in selling prices of CPO, PK and FFB by 19%, 11% and 22% respectively and increase in sales of electricity by 3% and a higher average selling price of EFB oil by 26%.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a profit before tax of RM6.94 million in the quarter under review as compared to a profit before tax of RM1.01 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The increase in profit before tax was mainly due to increase in FFB production by 19%, increases in sales volume of CPO and PK by 36% and 28% respectively and lower mill and power plant maintenance cost during the quarter under review.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 4.92 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 38.7 million and auditor’s remuneration of 419 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a profit before tax of RM1.01 million in the quarter under review as compared to a profit before tax of RM2.99 million in the immediate preceding quarter. The decrease in profit before tax was mainly due to a decrease in FFB production by 22% and a fair value gain on biological assets of RM1.35 million recorded in the immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a profit before tax of RM2.99 million in the current quarter as compared to a profit before tax of RM1.93 million in preceding quarter. The increase in profit before tax was mainly due to a fair value gain on biological assets of RM1.35 million.
