BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue increased to RM424.0 million against the preceding quarter’s revenue of RM409.2 million mainly due to higher revenue from both segments. Despite higher revenue, the Group posted a lower operating profit of RM9.8 million compared to the operating profit of RM19.1 million in Quarter 3, FY 2022 mainly due to foreign exchange losses as a result of the strengthening Malaysian Ringgit coupled with lower recovery of COVID-19 claims and lower reversal of cost provisions in the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Despite higher revenue, the Group posted a lower operating profit of RM19.1 million compared to Quarter 2, FY 2022 operating profit of RM25.8 million mainly due to lower foreign exchange gains coupled with lower recovery of doubtful debts for the Marine segment.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a lower revenue of RM400.6 million against the preceding quarter’s revenue of RM417.8 million mainly due to lower revenue from the Heavy Engineering segment. Despite the lower revenue, the Group recorded an operating profit of RM25.8 million compared to the preceding quarter’s operating profit of RM6.3 million. The improved performance was mainly contributed by reversal of cost provision for post sail-away projects as well as higher contribution from the Marine segment in the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded an operating profit of RM6.3 million compared to the preceding quarter’s operating loss of RM103.9 million as the Quarter 4, FY2021 results were impacted by additional cost provisions for on-going Heavy Engineering projects. The improved financial performance was also contributed by the partial recovery of COVID-19 claims and reversal of warranty provision for a post sail-away project as well as a reversal of impairment loss on trade receivables as the doubtful debts were recovered in the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a higher revenue of RM432.0 million against the preceding quarter’s revenue of RM389.3 million mainly due to higher revenue from both segments. Despite the higher revenue, the Group recorded higher operating loss of RM103.9 million compared to preceding quarter’s operating loss of RM20.2 million mainly due to additional cost provisions recognised for Heavy Engineering segment’s on-going projects.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group posted a higher revenue of RM389.3 million against the preceding quarter’s revenue of RM302.4 million mainly due to higher revenue from the Heavy Engineering segment partially offset by lower revenue from the Marine segment. In tandem with the higher revenue, the Group recorded lower operating loss of RM20.2 million
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported an operating loss of RM101.9 million compared to operating loss of RM8.1 million in the preceding quarter mainly due to additional cost provision recognised for Heavy Engineering segment’s on-going project as a result of revised completion target date. The revised date was necessary in view of delayed offshore commissioning works. The Group is currently undertaking all necessary actions to mitigate any further schedule slippage and will rigorously pursue actions to recover costs associated with these rectification activities against all relevant parties including subcontractors and vendors.

BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue of RM695.5 million was RM326.0 million higher than the preceding quarter’s revenue of RM369.5 million mainly due to higher revenue from both Heavy Engineering and Marine segments. The Group reported an operating loss of RM8.1 million compared to operating profit of RM2.5 million mainly due to the provision made for COVID-19 impact.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue of RM369.5 million was RM214.2 million higher than the preceding quarter’s revenue of RM155.3 million mainly due to higher revenue from both Heavy Engineering and Marine segments. Preceding quarter’s lower revenue was mainly affected by the yard suspension during the MCO and border restriction impacting Marine business. The Group reported an operating profit of RM2.5 million compared to operating loss of RM100.2 million, mainly due to COVID-19 associated costs of RM90 million recognised in the preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue of RM155.3 million was 55.2% lower than the preceding quarter’s revenue of RM346.4 million, mainly due to lower revenue from both Heavy Engineering and Marine segments, as a result of the yard suspension during MCO and border restrictions affecting Marine business. The Group reported an operating loss of RM100.2 million against an operating profit of RM5.6 million in the preceding quarter, mainly due to lower revenue and associated cost impact from COVID-19 of RM90 million recognised in the current quarter
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue of RM346.4 million was 25.7% higher than the preceding quarter’s revenue of RM275.6 million, mainly due to higher revenue from the Heavy Engineering segment. The Group reported an operating profit of RM5.6 million against an operating profit of RM1.6 million in the preceding quarter, mainly contributed by the higher revenue and improved performance in the Heavy Engineering segment.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 2.63 million. It was slightly low compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 199.3 million and auditor’s remuneration of 307 thousands

The Group’s revenue of RM275.6 million was 8.4% higher than the preceding quarter’s revenue of RM254.3 million, mainly due to increased revenue from the Marine segment. The Group reported an operating profit of RM1.6 million against an operating loss of RM4.9 million in the preceding quarter, in tandem with the higher revenue and improved performance in the Marine segment.
