BURSA MALAYSIA –
A lower revenue of RM3.81 million was recorded in the current period as compared to the preceding quarter’s revenue of RM6.33 million, as the Group laid the groundwork to expand its product and service distribution networks and footprint overseas.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
A lower revenue of RM5.08 million was achieved in the current period as compared to the preceding quarter’s revenue of RM7.63 million, mainly due to lower demand for vaccines, in view of Malaysia’s fully vaccinated population. Therefore, in the current quarter, MGRC has moved its focus to its immunotherapy business, producing CAR T-cells, natural killer cells (NK Cells) and mesenchymal stem cells (MSC). Despite the reduction in revenue, the Group has a shown higher profit by 95% as the distribution of immunotherapy and cell therapies contributed a higher margin.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
A lower revenue (RM7.63 million) was achieved in the current period as compared to the preceding quarter’s revenue of RM9.32 million, mainly due to lower demand for vaccines as most individuals are fully vaccinated. Despite the reduction in revenue, the Group has generated a higher profit as the profit margin for other revenue stream is higher.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
A higher revenue (RM9.32 million) was achieved in the current period as compared to the preceding quarter’s negative revenue of RM0.07 million, mainly due to revenues from vaccines. Consequently, a profit was achieved compared to a loss in the preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
A loss, net of tax, of RM4.29 million in FY2021 was incurred compared to a proft, net of tax, of RM17.10 million recorded in FY2020. The proft in FY2020 was mainly due to the disposal gain of MPath Group, which was involved in the provision of clinical pathology services. In addition to our expertise in genomics, our diversifcation into biopharmaceutical and immunotherapy brings forth new avenues of hope in healthcare which can beneft mankind. We see these areas to be brimming with potential and are prepared for an exciting growth ahead.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
A higher revenue (RM1.6 million) was achieved in the current period as compared to the preceding quarter’s revenue of RM0.1 million, mainly due to the higher orders from genetic screening services and recognition of the progress of genome sequencing and analysis sevices. Consequently, a profit was achieved compared to a loss in the preceding quarter.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 2.09 million. It was high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 4 million and auditor’s remuneration of 65 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
A lower revenue (RM0.0003 million) was achieved in the current period as compared to the preceding quarter’s revenue of RM0.308 million, mainly due to the effects of the MCO, which had resulted in higher losses, arising from the closure of the laboratory.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s recorded a revenue of RM0.3 million and LBT of RM1.7 million for 1Q2020 as compared to revenue of RM4.9 million and PBT of RM24.7 million in 4Q2019. The lower revenue was mainly due to the absence of dividend from Mpath Group. A loss before tax incurred was mainly due to the disposal gain and dividend received from MPath Group.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
A higher revenue (RM5.0 million) was achieved in the current period as compared to the preceding quarter’s revenue of RM0.2 million, mainly due to dividend from MPath Group. A higher revenue (RM24.7 million) was achieved in the current period as compared to the preceding quarter’s loss before tax of RM0.5 million, mainly due to the gain on disposal of MPath Group and dividend received from MPath Group.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 0.71 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 2.4 million and auditor’s remuneration of 74 thousands
