BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group registered a profit after tax of RM36.0 million, approximately 31% higher than that of the preceding financial year. The increased in PAT was mainly contributed by Residensi Majestic Maxim together with the newly launched project, Residensi Maxim Risen during the financial year under review. Going Forward, the Group envisages to launch another affordable housing development in the Klang Valley in the forthcoming financial year 2023. The Group will maximise value engineering to mitigate the rising construction cost and to offer a fair and affordable pricing for this upcoming projects. At the same time, the Group is actively looking to acquire new land at strategic location to replenish the existing land bank as the Group are optimistic about the positive outlook in the property industry and the demand from market remain sustainable.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group registered a profit after tax of RM36.0 million, approximately 31% higher than that of the preceding financial year. BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue for the quarter under review registered at RM204.5 million or 228% higher than the preceding quarter mainly due to higher revenue posted by Residensi Majestic Maxim by RM159.3 million (as per reasons mentioned above). The high contribution from Residensi Majestic Maxim along with the recovery of capital gains tax of RM19.0 million, resulted in the Group’s profit before interest and tax at RM39.3 million, about five fold of the preceding quarter profit before interest and tax at RM7.4 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue for the quarter under review registered at RM62.4 million or 43% higher than the preceding quarter mainly due to maiden revenue contribution of RM21.1 million by Residensi Maxim Risen, a new property development project launched in the quarter under review. Further, Residensi Metro Kepong posted a higher revenue in the quarter under review of RM26.2 million compared to the preceding quarter of RM21.1 million. Both the foregoing mentioned projects were the main contributors towards the Group’s higher profit before interest and tax at RM7.4 million
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before interest and tax was higher at RM1.0 million compared to RM0.4 million in the preceding quarter, mainly due to fair value gain on short-term investment and management fee income from investment holding segment, totalling RM2.2 million, mitigated by lower operating profit of the property segment of RM1.56 million in the current quarter under review.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue for the quarter under review registered at RM41.9 million or 27% lower than the preceding quarter mainly due to lower revenue posted by Residensi Majestic Maxim in the quarter under review of RM22.1 million compared to the preceding quarter of RM36.3 million. The above was the main contributor towards the Group’s lower profit before interest and tax at RM0.4 million, a decline of 77%.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue for the current quarter under review registered at RM57.7 million or 19% lower than the preceding quarter mainly due to no revenue posted by Mizumi Residences in the current quarter under review compared to the preceding quarter of RM12.8 million. The above was the main contributor towards the Group’s lower profit before interest and tax at RM1.7 million (RM6.1 million in the preceding quarter), a decline of 73%.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax was substantially higher at RM12.3 million compared to loss before tax and interest of RM124.7 million in the preceding quarter, mainly due to the one-off impairment of the Group’s assets held in the Boven Digoel, Papua, Republic of Indonesia amounting to RM169.4 million recorded in the preceding quarter, mitigated by the lower operating profit of the property business segment of RM29.5 million in the current quarter under review.

Maxim Global, formerly known as Tadmax Resources Bhd is disposing of its remaining 40% stake in Pulau Indah Power Plant Sdn Bhd to Worldwide Holdings Bhd for RM70mil.
The Edge –
Impiria Jaya Sdn Bhd ceased to be a substantial shareholder of the group on Nov 4 because its stake was diluted following the issue of new shares as consideration for the acquisition of Majestic Maxim Sdn Bhd. Tadmax had acquired Majestic Maxim from Maxim Holdings Sdn Bhd for RM115 million on Oct 16, which was satisfied via the issuance of 469.39 million shares in the group to the vendor. Following the share issuance, Maxim became the largest shareholder of Tadmax, with a 37.47% stake. Tadmax is now known as Maxim Global Bhd.
The Star –
Tadmax Resources Bhd will replenish its land bank with the proposed acquisition of a 2.6-acre leasehold plot of land in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, for RM37.4mil. In its stock filing, the company said its 55%-owned subsidiary, Builtamont Development Sdn Bhd, had entered into a sale and purchase agreement with Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur for the proposed acquisition of the land that came with a 99-year lease, expiring on June 12,2116, at the end of last month.

Likewise, due to the MCO, the Group’s revenue for the current quarter registered at RM28.3 million or 73% lower than preceding quarter mainly due to the lower revenue posted by Mizumi Residences at RM24.1 million (RM92.1 million in the preceding quarter). Further, there was no revenue reported under Industrial Supplies Business segment compared to RM0.2 million in the preceding quarter

The Group’s revenue for the current quarter registered at RM106.8 million, 28% higher than preceding quarter mainly due to the higher revenue posted by Mizumi Residences at RM92.1 million supported by a higher percentage completion achieved, after mitigated with the lower revenue reported under Industrial Business segment at RM0.2 million.
INVESTING MALAYSIA –
(3 JAN 20) Tadmax Resources Bhd has received a letter of notification from the Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment and Climate Change for the company to proceed with the development of a 1,200MW combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plant in Pulau Indah, Selangor.
