BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue from continuing operations of RM6.16 million in the current quarter, decreased by RM18.53 million from the preceding quarter. The negative variance of 75.1% was mainly due to the on-going project is at final stage. Loss before tax of RM0.98 million was reported for the current quarter, improved by RM2.08 million as compared to loss before tax from the preceding quarter. There was an additional development cost incurred in the preceding quarter that resulted in loss before tax of RM3.06 million.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
SYF recorded a loss before tax from continuing operations of RM2.15 million for current financial year, compared to profit before tax from continuing operations of RM9.13 million posted in preceding financial year. This was mainly due to the lower revenue recognised. This was mainly because the only on-going development project, Alstonia Residence, was at final stage and construction progress was affected by supply chain disruption and workers shortage. SYF intends to exit its rubberwood furniture business and enter into financial services business. The Proposed Acquisition is expected to enhance shareholders’ value taking into consideration the track records of M & A Securities as evident by its strong business growth and historical profitability
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue from continuing operations of RM24.69m in the current quarter, improved by RM11.80m from the preceding quarter. The positive variance of 91.5% was mainly due to improved sales and construction progress of the on-going project. The Group reported higher loss before tax from continuing operations, increased from RM0.59m in the preceding quarter to RM3.00m in the current quarter. The variance was mainly due to additional development costs incurred and provision on the on-going project.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported higher loss before tax from continuing operations, increased from RM0.07m in the preceding quarter to RM0.59m in the current quarter. The variance was mainly due to drop in the revenue and additional professional fees incurred for the on-going corporate exercise during the quarter.

The Group recorded a drop of 104.4% in profit before tax from the continuing operations, from RM1.56m in the preceding quarter to loss before tax of RM0.07m in the current quarter. The significant decrease was mainly due to the on-going project was at final stage and the construction progress was affected by supply chain disruption and workers shortage.

The Group recorded revenue from continuing operations of RM19.90m in the current quarter, up 22.3% against RM16.27m in the preceding quarter. The positive variance was contributed by improvement from the property development segment following gradual resumption of business activities during NRP period. The Group recorded improvement of 100.4% in profit before tax from continuing operations, from RM0.78m in the preceding quarter to RM1.56m in the current quarter. This was mainly due to increase in revenue and lower finance cost incurred.

The Group recorded a profit before tax of RM9.39 million for current financial year in comparison to loss before tax of RM20.45 million posted in financial year 2020. The increase was primarily contributed by an on-going development project, Alstonia Residence and disposal of a vacant development land in Semenyih whereas all on-going development projects were at final stage in the corresponding financial year. SYF intends to exit its rubberwood furniture business and enter into financial services business. The Proposed Acquisition is expected to enhance shareholders’ value taking into consideration the track records of M & A Securities as evident by its strong business growth and historical profitability.

In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 2.01 million. It was slightly high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 25.6 million and auditor’s remuneration of 142 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue rose from RM13.99m in preceding quarter to RM26.80m in current quarter following the resumption of business activities caused by MCO. Besides that, there was contribution from a new development project, Alstonia Residence. Loss before tax of RM6.38m was reported for current quarter, worsen by 10.9% from the preceding quarter. This was mainly due to professional fees incurred in the corporate exercise and impairment losses on completed property inventory.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM13.99m in the current quarter as compared to the revenue of RM32.10m in the preceding quarter. The decrease of RM18.11m or 56.4% was mainly due to temporary closure of business operations during the MCO since 18 March 2020.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM32.10m in the current quarter as compared to the revenue of RM42.29m in the preceding quarter. The decrease of RM10.19m or 24.1% was attributed to lower revenue of RM6.13m in the property development segment and RM4.05m in the rubberwood furniture segment. The drop was due to the downsizing of furniture downstream division and completion of all development projects in the previous quarter.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 2.4 million. It was slightly high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 37 million and auditor’s remuneration of 135 thousands
