BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a profit after taxation of RM11.22 million in FY2023, slipping a marginal of 3% from the profit after taxation of RM11.55 million achieved in FY2022. This was due to increase in employee benefits expense as the Group expanded its workforce coupled with the hiring of more cybersecurity specialists. We are experiencing a notable surge in local demand for cybersecurity and we anticipate that the momentum will likely to persist in 2024. Hence, this requires a ramp up in our workforce expansion, making it our core focus to expand our team capacity moving forward. We are investing in Human Resource optimisation and improvement, while continuing to actively seek and train talent.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Despite a lower revenue recorded in the current quarter, the Group achieved a higher profit after tax of RM2.75 million in the current financial period under review as compared to RM2.47 million in the preceding quarter. The increase of RM0.28 million in profit after tax was mainly due to lower other operating expenses incurred in the current quarter under review. The higher other operating expenses incurred in the immediate preceding quarter was primarily attributable to the IPO listing expenses.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a profit after tax of RM2.47 million in the current financial period under review compared to RM3.09 million in the preceding quarter, a decrease of RM0.62 million was mainly due to the increase in employee benefits expenses and listing expenses.
