BURSA MALAYSIA –
Our Group has registered a remarkable profit before tax of RM34.48 million for FYE 2023, representing an increase of RM4.98 million or 16.87% as compared to RM29.50 million to the previous financial year. The increase was mainly attributable to the increase in our core business, distribution of CPG segment. For our manufacturing of bakery products segment, the invention of PT Gardenia Bakeries Indonesia has brought our Group to expand our presence in Indonesia. Furthermore, with the provision of transportation support services, our Group believe that these services will contribute to the growth in our profit.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax for the current financial quarter of RM7.07 million represented increase in profit before tax of RM0.32 million or 4.71% as compared to RM6.75 million in the preceding financial quarter. Despite the Group recorded decrease in revenue, the increase in profit before tax for the current financial quarter was mainly due to decrease in administrative expenses. The decrease was primarily due to decline in unrealised loss on foreign exchange due to strengthening of RM against BND for the current financial quarter as compared to the immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax for the current financial quarter of RM6.75 million represented decrease in profit before tax of RM2.93 million or 30.29% as compared to RM9.69 million in the preceding financial quarter. The decrease in profit before tax for the current financial quarter was mainly attributable to decrease in revenue from the personal care and cosmetic products, baby milk powder products as well as nutrition products.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax for the current financial quarter of RM9.69 million represented an increase in profit before tax of RM2.42 million or 33.33% as compared to RM7.26 million in the preceding financial quarter. The increase in profit before tax for the current financial quarter was mainly attributable to higher gross profits from the personal care and cosmetics products and household products.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax for the current financial quarter of RM7.26 million represented an increase in profit before tax of RM1.12 million or 18.23% as compared to RM6.14 million in the preceding financial quarter. The increase in profit before tax for the current financial quarter was mainly attributable to higher gross profits from the food and beverage products and personal care and cosmetics products.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax for the current financial quarter of RM6.14 million represented a decrease in profit before tax of RM0.50 million or 7.53% as compared to RM6.64 million in the preceding financial quarter. The decrease in profit before tax for the current financial quarter was mainly attributable to lower gross profits from the nutrition products.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Our Group has registered a remarkable profit before tax of RM13.72 million for Financial Year Ended 2021, representing an increase of RM7.09 million or 106.94%. The vast growth in profit before tax was mainly due to the decrease in expenses and finance costs resulting from the effective cost control measure and the improved cash flows management. We will continue to be bullish in our performance in the coming year by focusing on organic growth through strategic sign-ups with new agencies and brands as well as achieving our ideal operating costefficient structure. In addition, Malaysia Investment Development Authority (“MIDA”) had approved the status for KTC Shipping, one of our subsidiaries, to provide international integrated logistic services
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax for the current financial quarter of RM2.36 million represented a decrease in profit before tax of RM1.74 million or 42.41% as compared to RM4.10 million in the preceding financial quarter. The decrease in profit before tax for the current financial quarter was mainly attributable to lower margin arising from alcoholic beverages due to promotional activities during the Movement Control Order (“MCO”) imposed by the Malaysian Government as result of Covid-19 pandemic
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax for the current financial quarter of RM4.10 million represented a decrease in profit before tax of RM0.44 million or 1.06% as compared to RM4.14 million in the preceding financial quarter. The decrease in profit before tax for the current financial quarter was mainly attributable to lower margin arising from alcoholic beverages due to promotional activities during the Movement Control Order (“MCO”) imposed by the Malaysian Government as result of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (“Covid-19”) pandemic
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 2.59 million. It was fair compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 25.5 million and auditor’s remuneration of 233 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue and loss before tax of RM151.07 million and RM0.63 million respectively for the current quarter ended 30 June 2020 as compared to a revenue and profit before tax of RM160.83 million and RM2.17 million respectively in the preceding quarter. The decrease was mainly due to lower profit earned from promotional products sold during this current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue for the current financial quarter ended 31 March 2020 decreased by RM10.36 million or 6.05% to RM160.83 million as compared to RM171.19 million in the preceding financial quarter ended 31 December 2019 and the Group’s profit before tax for the current financial quarter of RM2.17 million represents a decrease of RM1.46 million or 40.23% as compared to RM3.63 million in the preceding financial quarter. The decrease were mainly due to Movement Control Order (“MCO”) imposed by the Malaysian Government
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue for current quarter ended 31 December 2019 increased by RM13.88 million to RM171.19 million as compared to RM157.31 million in the preceding quarter. The increase in revenue was mainly caused by increase in foods and beverages from existing agencies and nutrition products from a new agency. The Group’s PBT for the current quarter of RM3.63 million as compared to RM1.93 million in preceding quarter. The higher PBT was due to higher gross profit arising from foods and beverage.
INVESTING MALAYSIA –
KTC 22 JAN 20 – Kim Teck Cheong Consolidated Bhd said today that it has obtained the exclusive right to use the Gardenia trademark in Sabah, Sarawak and Indonesia, after inking two separate licence agreements with the registered trademark holders.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 2.82 million. It was slightly high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 18.5 million and auditor’s remuneration of 217 thousands
