BURSA MALAYSIA –
Quarter 2 financial performance recorded the 3 months impact of the pandemic as well as the several phases of MCO. Overall revenue and PBT decreased by 24.6% and 29.5% respectively, mainly due to the sluggish performance in the retail and hotel segments. The declined in retail segment was mainly from the provision of rental assistance to the tenants, whilst the hotel segment is still impacted by the global travel restrictions.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s revenue and PBT for the current quarter at RM354.59 million and RM232.267 million are lower than preceding quarter at RM364.961 million and RM362.468 million, respectively. The revenue and PBT declined as the year-end holidays and festive season traditionally contribute to better performance in the hotel segment. Overall performance especially the hotel segment started to decline and further deteriorate by the declaration of Covid-19 and MCO.
