BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a gross revenue of RM102.2mil in FY24, as compared to RM83.7mil in FY23, a growth of 22%. While PBT increasing 14.0% to RM45 million as compared to RM39.5 million in the preceding year. The improved overall financial performance was primarily boosted by the improved year to date occupancy rate for the retail sector from 92.0% to 94.1%, recognition of full year lease income from the three industrial properties acquired in December 2022, coupled with contribution from the newly acquired KIPMall Kota Warisan. Considering the positive performance of KIP REIT’s existing property portfolio and their strategic endeavors to actively enhance leasing and operational strategies while pursuing investments of high quality, The Group anticipates the ability to sustain a stable performance throughout fiscal year 2024.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
Despite recording a higher NPI, our profit decreased by RM14.72 million or 19.5% from RM75.51 million in FYE 2022 to RM60.79 million in FYE 2023, mainly due to the decrease in unrealised gain by 41.5% arising from the lower fair value gain on investment property by RM16.37 million as compared to the previous financial year. KIP REIT will continuously strive to identify and evaluate potential growth opportunities in both existing and new assets, encompassing the retail, commercial and industrial sectors. While exploring new investment opportunities, our dedication and proactive approach in lease management and tenant retention will be paramount in maintaining a stable income stream.
