The Group’s profit before tax (“PBT”) and profit after tax (“PAT”) decreased by 34.0% and 30.8%, to RM21.4 million and RM17.3 million in FYE2022 respectively as compared to RM32.4 million and RM25.0 million for FY2021 correspondingly. The decline in PBT and PAT respectively were mainly due to margin squeeze caused by the double effect on softening market demands post Covid-19 pandemic, higher cost from the weakening of the Malaysian Ringgit and the increase in material and freight costs. Going Forward, the Group is actively managing the supply chain and material cost challenges, and will continue to focus on cost optimisation exercises and efforts to improve operational efficiency while expanding our regional business. The Group will continue investing to intensify our resources in people development, process methodology, data and analytics.
