BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group’s profit before tax (“PBT”) and profit after tax (“PAT”) decreased by 34.0% and 30.8%, to RM21.4 million and RM17.3 million in FYE2022 respectively as compared to RM32.4 million and RM25.0 million for FY2021 correspondingly. The decline in PBT and PAT respectively were mainly due to margin squeeze caused by the double effect on softening market demands post Covid-19 pandemic, higher cost from the weakening of the Malaysian Ringgit and the increase in material and freight costs. Going Forward, the Group is actively managing the supply chain and material cost challenges, and will continue to focus on cost optimisation exercises and efforts to improve operational efficiency while expanding our regional business. The Group will continue investing to intensify our resources in people development, process methodology, data and analytics.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM128.46 million for the current quarter under review, representing a decrease of 8.8% as compared to RM140.91 million in the immediate preceding quarter. Meanwhile, the Group recorded profit before tax of RM2.59 million, representing a decrease of 36.1% as compared to the preceding quarter’s profit before tax of RM4.05 million, mainly due to a decline in sales in tandem with lower sales volume and gross profit margin.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM148.62 million for the current quarter under review, representing a decrease of 10.9% as compared to RM166.72 million in the immediate preceding quarter. Meanwhile, the Group recorded profit before tax of RM4.05 million, representing a decrease of 62.2% as compared to the preceding quarter’s profit before tax of RM10.72 million, mainly due to gain on disposal of property in the preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM166.72 million for the current quarter under review, representing an increase of 22.4% as compared to RM136.20 million in the immediate preceding quarter. Meanwhile, the Group recorded profit before tax of RM10.72 million, representing an increase of 240.2% as compared to the preceding quarter’s profit before tax of RM3.15 million, mainly due to gain on disposal of property in the current quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded profit before tax of RM5.86 million, representing a decrease of 60.2% as compared to the preceding quarter’s profit before tax of RM14.71 million. The decrease is mainly due to the recognition of the one-off gain on disposal of land in the preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM82.46 million for the current quarter, representing a decrease of 10.9% as compared to RM92.55 million in the preceding quarter. Meanwhile, the Group recorded profit before tax of RM14.71 million, representing an increase of 1,796% as compared to the preceding quarter’s profit before tax of RM0.78 million. The significant improvement is mainly due to the one-off gain on disposal of land.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 4.53 million. It was slightly high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 59.5 million and auditor’s remuneration of 182 thousands
