BURSA MALAYSIA –
FYE2022 revenue grew by 14.9% to RM1,122.2 million in FYE2021. The Group’s profit after tax and minority interest for FYE2022 grew by 18.5% to RM114.8 million from RM96.9 million in FYE2021. The growth driver was the improvement in the progress of construction work activities along with increased workforce given the inflow of foreign labour as compared to the two previous years. Under the Budget 2023, the core development expenditure is allocated to East Malaysia’s state development, MRT3 construction, upgrading works on hospitals, flood mitigations, airport upgrades, port developments and others. These developments are expected to provide the construction sector a boost in productivity level with large number of contracts to be tendered. Another good news will be the removal of agents to hire foreign labour which can help contractors save time and costs
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue and profit before tax of RM259.4 million and RM37.7 million respectively as compared to RM276.9 million and RM38.5 million respectively in its immediate preceding quarter. The decrease of revenue was mainly due to reduction in progress of construction works activities, whereas the profit before tax for the quarter increase compared to the immediate preceding quarter is due to increase in profit margins earned for certain projects.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue and profit before tax of RM276.92 million and RM38.49 million respectively as compared to RM300.59 million and RM38.17 million respectively in its immediate preceding quarter. The decrease of revenue was mainly due to progress of construction works activities and the profit before tax increase due to increase in profit margin

The increase of revenue was mainly due to progress of construction works activities and the profit before tax decrease due to increase of material cost.

The Group recorded a revenue and profit before tax of RM283.71 million and RM41.67 million respectively as compared to RM222.64 million and RM30.61 million respectively in its immediate preceding quarter. The increase was mainly due to the progress of construction works improved.

The Group recorded a revenue and profit before tax of RM222.64 million and RM30.61 million respectively as compared to RM189.89 million and RM23.26 million respectively in its immediate preceding quarter. The increase was mainly due to construction projects were resumed works after the FMCO that took effect from 1 June 2021 to 28 June 2021.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue and profit before tax of RM189.89 million and RM23.26 million respectively for the current quarter compared to RM268.67 million and RM36.23 million respectively in its immediate preceding quarter. The FMCO that took effect from 1 June 2021 to 28 June 2021 have minimal impact on the Group’s performance and hence the Group’s results for the quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a revenue and profit after tax of RM268.67 million and RM26.38 million respectively as compared to RM248.85 million and RM28.00 million respectively in its immediate preceding quarter. The increase in revenue for current quarter was mainly due to the Group has fully resumed its construction projects as compared to immediate preceding quarter where work stopage occurred at two construction sites due to the covid-19 infection amongst the workers.

Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd rose in early trade Thursday after the group announced its latest RM64mil contract win. Kerjaya has secured an RM64mil contract to build a sewerage plant for the Seri Tanjung Pinang (Phase 2A) development (STP2) in Penang from Tanjung Pinang Development Sdn Bhd. This award brings Kerjaya’s total contracts secured for 2020 to RM1.4bil, putting Kerjaya within striking distance of its internal target of RM1.5bil for the year.
