BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group underlying PBT of RM746.0 million for the current financial year ended 30 June 2024, which RM111.1 million or 13% lower than preceding year corresponding period of RM857.1 million. The decrease in underlying PBT is mainly due to higher depreciation and write off of hotel assets arising from the review of useful life of hotels’ property, plant and equipment. Moving forward, The Group will continue to focus on increasing the occupancy rate of IOI Central Boulevard Towers while preparing for the launch of Marina View Residences, a mixed-use development featuring branded residences and a luxury 5-star hotel.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group achieved a robust profit before tax of RM1.62 billion, marking a remarkable 47% year-on-year increase, showing an impressive 104% year-on-year growth. These substantial increases were higher primarily driven by significant fair value gains on our investment properties. This success is intricately linked to the completion of IOI City Mall Phase 2, which seamlessly integrated its operations with the existing mall. The Group’s property development segment will continue to optimise its existing landbank, develop sustainable products that integrate all facets of urban lifestyle (connectivity, entertainment, conveniences, retail, etc.) and offer a wide range of products to capture a larger demographic of buyers.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded underlying PBT of RM254.2 million (excluding fair value gain on an investment property and impairment loss on property, plant and equipment) for the current quarter, which is RM52.7 million or 17% lower than immediate preceding quarter of RM306.9 million (excluding fair value gain on investment properties and property development costs written down). Lower financial performance in the current quarter is mainly due to lower operating profit contribution from property development segment and lower share of joint ventures profit attributable to the fair value gain on South Beach office towers in the immediate preceding quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded underlying PBT of RM302.8 million for the current quarter, which is RM21.9 million or 7% lower than the immediate preceding quarter of RM324.7 million. Lower financial performance in the current quarter is mainly due to lower operating profit contribution from property development segment and higher interest expenses expensed to profit or loss following the completion of the construction of IOI Mall, Xiamen. This is partly offset by higher share of results of joint ventures in the current year quarter arising from fair value gain on South Beach office towers in Singapore.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded underlying PBT of RM324.6 million for the current quarter, which is RM1.5 million or 1% lower than the immediate preceding quarter of RM326.1 million. Lower financial performance in the current quarter is mainly due to higher finance cost expensed off to profit or loss following the completion of the construction of IOI Mall, Xiamen and higher share of results of joint ventures profit arising from higher residential unit sold in the previous quarter.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded revenue of RM704.8 million for the current year quarter, which is RM113.5 million or 19% higher than preceding year corresponding quarter of RM591.3 million. Excluding fair value loss on an investment property of RM98.4 million, the Group’s underlying profit before taxation of RM331.3 million for the current year quarter is RM58.5 million or 21% higher than the preceding year corresponding quarter of RM272.8. The increase in revenue and underlying PBT is mainly attributable to better performance contributed from all business segments.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded PBT of RM260.7 million for the current quarter, which is RM103.6 million or 28% lower than the immediate preceding quarter of RM364.3 million after excluding fair value loss on investment properties and property development costs written down amounting to RM180.0 million. Lower financial performance in the current quarter is mainly due to disruption to the Group’s operations from the reimposition of MCO by Malaysian Government.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded PBT of RM281.7 million (excluding foreign currency translation loss on foreign denominated borrowings and deposit) for the current quarter, which is RM32.4 million or 13% higher than the immediate preceding quarter of RM249.3 million (excluding foreign currency translation gain on foreign denominated borrowings and deposits). PBT is slightly higher in the current quarter is mainly due to higher share of profit from the sale of land by an associate.

BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded PBT of RM150.1 million for the current quarter, which is RM110.8 million or 42% lower than the preceding quarter of RM260.9 million.
