BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported revenue of RM253.2 million and a pre-tax profit of RM105.6 million for the financial year ended 30 June 2024 as compared to revenue of RM216.8 million and pre-tax profit of RM134.7 million in the preceding financial year. The lower in pretax profit were mainly due to lower gain on foreign exchange in the Investment Unit for the current financial year. Going forward, The Group remains resilient supported by strong financial fundamentals and prudent cash and financial management, and we will continue vigilance to navigate the Group through the continuing challenging economic landscape amid higher inflation which dampen economic performance and affected the investors’ confidence in the global financial markets.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group recorded a lower pre-tax profit at RM134.7 million in FY 2023 as compared to RM229.6 million in FY 2022. The main contributors of pre-tax profit in FY 2023 are the Technology segment registering RM70.6 million (FY 2022: RM249.7 million), the Financial Services segment contributing RM35.3 million (FY 2022: RM44.7 million) and the investment holding & trading segment contributing RM28.0 million (FY 2022: pre-tax loss of -RM57.6 million). Looking ahead, the prospects for Inari in FY 2024 remains promising. Barring any adverse developments stemming from the prevailing semiconductor market slowdown and tighter monetary policies in major global economies, Inari remains steadfast in its commitment to implement strategies aimed at enhancing production capacity, optimizing energy consumption, and fortifying operational efficiencies
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported lower pre-tax profit of RM19.8 million in the current financial quarter as compared to RM135.6 million in Q4/2022 mainly due to a lower gain on deemed disposal of equity interests in associate companies of RM5.0 million (Q4/2022: RM131.3 million) and unrealised loss on fair value changes of financial assets at fair value through profit or loss of -RM26.7 million in the current financial quarter
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported higher revenue of RM64.1 million and pre-tax profit of RM30.6 million in the current financial quarter as compared to the immediate preceding financial quarter of RM44.2 million and RM25.4 million respectively mainly due to lower unrealised loss on fair value changes of financial assets at fair value through profit or loss in the current financial quarter.
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2020, the directors’ remuneration was 11.12 million. It was high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 38.5 million and auditor’s remuneration of 297 thousands
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported pre-tax loss of -RM49.7 million as compared to the preceding quarter pre-tax profit of RM33.5 million mainly due to unrealised loss on fair value changes of financial assets at fair value through profit or loss, unrealised fair value loss on derivative financial instruments and higher unrealised loss on foreign exchange.
BURSA MALAYSIA –
The Group reported higher pre-tax profit of RM33.5 million as compared to preceding quarter of RM21.3 million mainly due to higher unrealised gain on fair value changes of financial assets at fair value through profit or loss of RM8.3 million (Q1 2020: fair value loss of RM5.2 million), and higher unrealised gain on foreign exchange of RM2.8 million (Q1 2020: unrealised loss of RM3.2 million).
REMUNERATION STUDY –
In Financial Year End 2019, the directors’ remuneration was 11.61 million. It was very high compared to average in listed companies, considering the employees’ remuneration of 38 million and auditor’s remuneration of 296 thousands
